Sunriver is the place to get away. It is a community all in itself. You do not need to leave once you are there unless you want to. You can rent beautiful houses or stay in one of the lodges. They are always running specials. There is a shopping center with retail shops, restaurants, and entertainment. They also offer horseback riding, discounts on skiing, and white water rafting. I would highly recommend the horse back ride although be prepared for a bumpy ride.

The black butte resort is a nice getaway. In the winter the best thing to do is either go snow shoeing or stay at the inn or a house and go skiing. It is really reasonable especially if you take a few other people with you and split the cost. In the summer there are all sorts of activites including hiking, golfing, horse back riding, etc. There is a nice restaurant and a lounge to relax in or bring your own food if you staying in a house.

J/K carpet is the best place to buy flooring materials. I was recommended to J/K carpets by a few different friends. I was not disappointed and was highly impressed with their selection of flooring especially their carpet. I got a great deal on the carpet and installation and love the look and feel of it. I am now going to have them install some flooring for my bathroom since they did such a great job the first time.

Roths grocery store is the best gourmet grocery store around. They have recently remodeled the one on south Liberty and it is beautiful. It is like shopping in an Italian market or similiar. They are overly friendly and known for their awesome customer service. You will never wait in line and they always take out your bags. It is service that I have not found any where else. They also have a great wine selection and a huge meat counter. The wines are often available for sampling of Friday nights.
