This practice is located in a free standing building, and caters to various types of cosmetic surgery consultations, Microdermabrasion, laser removal of hari, veins, stretch marks and tatoo's, just to name a few. There are three branches of this practice throughout the Chicagoland area, along with two surgical centers where surgery is performed. While I did meet with one of the doctors while I was there, I did not like the fact that you do not meet with the doctor who is to perform your surgery until the day of your surgery. That seemed to be more like an assembly line when you never have the opportunity to develop a rapport with the doctor who will be operating on you.

This dental practice is located in a strip mall type older shopping center with ample parking available. The waiting room, while small, is clean and orderly and the exam rooms are clean and machinery newer and up-to-date. The dentists seem to keep up with the current new techniques coming out in their field and the office staff is friendly and helpful. As the practice has grown, there is much less one on one time between the patient and the dentist, but I suppose that would happen in just about any line of work. The technician's are usually gentle during the teeth cleaning part, and a tongue cancer exam is routinely performed.

This office is in a strip mall with ample parking and is easy to get to with its North Plainfield location. The office is clean and the building is newer. Unfortunately, that is about the only good things I can say about this practice. The primary Dentist, who cleaned my teeth when I went, jabbed my gums so many times, I was almost in tears. I know that this is not a lone occurance as several other people that have gone have had the same thing happen to them. I went for a cleaning and it was the poorest cleaning I have ever had. There was no polishing of my teeth, nor were my gums checked for recession. I was in the chair no more than 15 minutes.

Steven Moravec DDS, likely has one of the busiest practices in downtown Plainfield. His offices are located in an old coverted two story house on the outskirts of the main area of old downtown Plainfield. Though busy, there is rarely much of a wait, and his office staff is friendly and helpful in scheduling appointments (including "emergency" bracket replacement). There is a computer system so that when the patient arrives, they are able to sign themselves in, then go straight to the sink area to brush their teeth. Dr. Moravec is friendly, and following a childs appointment, makes a point to come speak with the parent(s) present as to how their childs teeth are progressing.

Crossroads Animal Hospital is centrally located in Plainfield, a little south of downtown. While the employees are friendly, and vets seem to handle animals well and are good at calming down anxious pets, the location can be difficult to get to, depending on traffic. Route 59, at almost any time of day can take a long while to get down (or up) as traffic is usually at a standstill on this busy commuter route. The building and grounds are well kept up, and the interior is clean as well.

This animal clinic has ample parking and is nicley maintained...both inside and out. The interior is clean and the staff and vets are friendly and always seem to have a welcoming smile. When we have had to see a vet, the vet has always shown compassion towards our pet and has tried to do what they can to relax the pet for the exam.

This garden center has an abundance of beautiful, lush shrubs, trees and plants. Their stock is well cared for as well. The employees we have encountered have come up to us on occassion to offer assistance, and when we have had to seek out assistance, the employees have always been knowledgeable about the stock Lizzie's carries. We have never had anything we have gotten from them die.

This restaurant is located in the Fox Valley Mall area. It is open for both lunch and dinner. With such a large selection of good mexican restaurants in the area, I would choose someplace else. While the food was ok (not good, but ok), the service left a lot to be desired. Each time we have gone, we have had to track down the server more than once to get a bill, a refill, etc. The interior left the impression of needing a good cleaning as well.

This restaurant is more of an adult friendly restaurant than kid friendly restaurant. It can get very noisy, especially downstairs, so when making reservations, try to request a table upstairs. The restaurant is in an old building with high ceilings and is very minimalist. The food is great (try the calamari), and the menu changes daily, based on what is fresh at the market. If there is a special way you would like something prepared, and don't see it on the menu, just ask your server and it shouldn't be a problem.

This is another of the trendy restaurant/bars in the downtown Naperville area. It has opened within the last 2 years. The ambiance is nice and the restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner. It can get noisy, but the food is superb and service is usually good. Along with other things, you can get a house salad and cup of soup at lunch for $1.00 each. A must try at lunch are the filet mingon "baby" sandwiches (order 3). You will usually need reservations.
