Our book club meets there...they have great tables in out of the way places for just this. they have free Wi-Fi connections for those wishing to be online. I have heard they have entertainment some evening...but have never been. And they are putting in their own kitchen, which should make it BETTER YET!!!

I found the lobster grilled cheese, with homemade cream of tomato soup to dip it in, absolutely exquisite. The steak and the salmon my quests chose were very much to their liking as well...

As a longtime(26 years) member of ELFCO, I have, overall, loved my Co-op. We used to be one of ELFCOs organic produce growers, too. There were years when there were problems at ELFCO, but for a long time, ELFCO was the only place in town to get high quality, whole foods. In recent years...the animal rights people have seemed to take over in the running of ELFCO and made it less welcoming to us, as meat eaters.
BUT...ELFCO is an ever-evolving place....always trying to get better. I suggest you try it out...and see if it fits you!

I was introduced to Culver's while helping a friend in Milwaukee...at the time there were no Frozen Custard places like Culvers in mid-Michigan. BUT...now there is! They have GREAT burgers!!! I love a salad they have with bleu cheese, avocados and pecans. AND of course...their frozen custard. Vanilla, Chocolate or FLavor of the Day. You can ask for a list of this months flavors of the day...so that you can make sure you stop by when they have your favorite one....(or one that LOOKS good!)

oh..and their kids meals have coupons on them that can be used for ice cream (or saved for bigger, more useful prizes than the other fast food places...like Tshirts and sports balls.)

Then the finance person said "Trust me...Ya gotta trust someone sometime" when we said we needed to talk to the credit union before we decided who to finance through and he was telling us he had the best deal. WELL...he didn't have the best deal. I won't be treated like that again...I won't do business here again, either.

If there is a wait to get into EL Azteco ....it will be worth it. I met my husband on a blind date at El Az 26 years ago...the marriage and the food are both still GREAT !!!
