Founded by Lil Friedlander, who turned a 48,000-square-foot manufacturing plant into an art studio for herself and some friends. Today, TULA houses commercial galleries, artist studios and IMAGE Film and Video which takes up a small auditorium at the back of the building. Well worth an afternoon browse.
