The dog DOESN'T bite! (But I might) 6/28/2006

I was sitting on my bed watching tv when my dog, Stitch, came in and fell on over on her side. That isn't so unnatural because she does that sometimes, but she stood up and started running herself into the wall, over and over. Scared me to death, I don't drive and I didn't have a car here, so I had to wait until my sister, got home from work. Took her forty minutes to get here, by that time I was shaking so badly, Stitchy acted like she couldn't breath. So we rushed her to the animal emergency hospital. Where they were very rude to us. I told them what had happened and they asked if she had ever had a rabies shot, I said no, we haven't ever been able to afford to take her to the vet, they got upset with me and said if she bit them they would put her down and chop her head off and send her to Raleigh, although they didn't say "her" they called her an "it". I told them we didn't need them, and we brought her home, praying she wouldn't die. They could have offered her a shot right then, she was sedate, she was barely moving, they could have seriously helped us, instead of treating us like so much dirt under their feet. I will NEVER take another animal to them again. Not only where they insensitive, they were rude, obnoxious, and sloppy. more
