My family loves King Buffet. It's an all you can eat with salad, Chinese food, a few American food items (nuggets, French fries, garlic bread, pizza), and desserts (soft serve and assorted Little Debbie type sweets). The wait staff is very attentive, clearing dirty plates, refilling beverages, bringing extra napkins for our messy family. We like King Buffet because the kids can get things they like and the adults can also. My five year old says it's her favorite restaurant because she can choose her own food. The seating area is huge so you should never have to wait. The only drawback to eating here is the weight you'll gain from stuffing yourself!

We love Parasio and have eaten here for years! They are very friendly when you come in. They have a roaming magician on Friday nights. My husband always gets the #4 and is very happy with it. My favorite is the espresso burrito. It has meat, beans, rice, cheese rolled up inside a flour tortilla and topped with enchilada sauce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream and guacamole. Delicious! We usually get take out. Call them up and your order will be ready in about 10 minutes and will come with a generous portion of chips.

While wandering around Coupeville, we went into the Atelier Michele studio and Gallery. Michele Kempee is the artist in residence. She has a great gift for taking a color photograph and reproducing it in watercolor. She can combine several photos together into one watercolor. Her work is really flattering. I wish I had the money to afford one! One person drawn from their shoulders up with a background is $500. You can check out her work at www.michelekempees.com.

While spending the day in Coupeville, we ate lunch at the Knead and Feed. It's below street level and reached by a set of stairs, no handicap access. The restaurant has a great view of the Puget Sound directly below the windows. It's a small place, probably seats 30-40. We were there for lunch. The menu is not large, soup, salad, and sandwiches on their homemade bread. I had the shrimp bisque. The soup had good flavor and was served with two generous slices of bread and a big dollop of butter. The soup contained small "salad" shrimp. I also had a "famous" cinnamon roll. It was a large roll and was fine, but not as good as my own recipe! Others at the table had the 1/2 sandwich and salad special. They were happy with their choices. I wasn't brave enough to try their rye bread, it's positively black! They make several different pies for dessert. My sister-in-law got the chocolate chip pecan and it was very good. It'd be even better warmed up with a scoop of ice cream. The wait staff was very pleasant.

We recently stayed here on a girl's night out. We were very pleased with the accommodations. We had a place all to ourselves, I think it's called the "roost", so we could stay up and laugh all night without bothering anyone. When you first go into the roost, you see a small kitchen and dining area. A bedroom that sleeps two in twin beds and small bathroom are straight ahead. On the left are stairs leading to the living room. It's got a pull out bed, a master bedroom with a queen bed, an extra large closet with a cot, and a bathroom. The view from the living room was amazing, right out over the Strait of Juan de Fuca. We could watch the big ships going by. They had magazines, books, games, and satellite tv for entertainment. It's a self serve bed and breakfast. They stock the kitchen with pancake fixings, fruit, fresh baked bread, fresh eggs from chickens on site, breakfast meats, juice and coffee. You make what you want. There were seven of us and there was plenty of food. There's a full sized fridge for any additional food you want to bring. It's very peaceful, the chickens were even quiet. We definitely plan to go back!

My husband and I ate here recently because we had a buy one get one free coupon. When we got there, we weren't sure what door to go in. It seemed like one was the entrance to the bar, the other a back entrance with junk laying around. Inside the restaurant, it seemed like it had seen better days. Example, in the bathroom it was painted a pretty color and had a nice wallpaper border, but there were big holes in the wall where something had once been. We ate at 5:00 and were the only ones in the restaurant part of the place. Our waitress took our order, didn't write it down, and was gone. As part of our BOGO coupon, we had to get two beverages. She brought mine out but not my husbands. We asked again for his beverage. Our entrées came only mine was wrong. Still no beverage for my husband so we asked again. She took away the wrong order and I waited for the correct order while my husband began to eat. My order finally arrived, still no beverage for my husband. He got a burger and fries and thought they were fine. I got a grilled sandwich with roast beef and blue cheese. I wouldn't get it again. There wasn't much blue cheese and the meat didn't have any flavor. When we tried to pay, she told us we couldn't use the coupon because we had to get two beverages. We reminded her that we'd asked three times for one of them! She never apologized for the mix up in my order or the missed drink. The worse part of our dining experience was the atmosphere. Our waitress was young, maybe in her early 20's. There was a man in his 50's who appeared to be the owner. He'd call her over to the table where he had paperwork spread out and would run his hands all over her butt. When she was trying to print out our receipt at the cash register right next to our table, he came up behind her and started sucking on her neck and running his hands all over her. She seemed to put up with it but please! I don't need to watch someone sexually harassing his staff. Even if she liked him, I don't expect to see that kind of behavior while I'm eating. We won't be going back. Going out to eat should be a treat, we left there feeling depressed!

We recently ate here on a "girls night out". Freshly sliced bread is brought to the table along with saucers of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. We ordered the calamari and the artichoke dip for appetizers. The calamari was a big disappointment, especially for $10! All we could taste was the breading, the addition of salt helped the breading but not the overall flavor. We really enjoyed the artichoke dip but found the portion size small. The tortilla chips to dip seemed more like fried pita chips, they were yummy but there were way more chips than dip. Portion sizes of the entrées were large. It seemed like the fish portions were enough for two people. The salmon and halibut entrée was tasty. Beware that the blackened halibut is quite spicy! I had the seafood bowl. It contained crab, prawns, mussels and clams. I thought it was ironic that a place named after a crabbing expedition in Puget Sound serves king crab instead of Dungenous. My entrée was advertised as coming with crab legs. Instead I got a hunk of body. It was very over salted. I only had two prawns in my dish but that's ok because they were overcooked to the consistency of rubber! The mussels and clams were delicious. Everything came out swimming in a tasty broth. There was nothing to soak up the broth with so I asked for more bread and enjoyed every last drop. For dessert, we got the ice cream sundae. The chocolate sauce was very tasty. The views are great, right on the water. The prices seemed steep for Coupeville, the entrées were in the $20 range. Also, the water in Coupeville isn't very tasty. Get a beverage or ask for a slice of lemon to disguise the water's flavor.

I have had a storage unit at Bulldog for about 1 1/2 years. I have been happy with them. It's a very secure location. Everyone is given a unique password to get through the electric gate. Then, you need to punch a code to get inside the building, then you can open your storage unit which is locked with your own lock. Bulldog is tucked behind the Safeway in Smokey Point.

I have received two bouquets from Flowers by George and both have been beautiful and long lasting. I received one when I was in the hospital for a prolonged stay and it was incredible. People coming to my room had to comment on it. It was a cheery yellow color and was like my very own source of sunshine in the room. I've also had one delivered to my home which was very pretty. They really do a nice job with flower arranging. Their store has an espresso stand and some home decor gift type items.

I love going to Mimi's Kids for clothes for my baby. The store feels "clean". The clothes are arranged logically. The clothes are cute, much nicer than what you'd find at a Goodwill or Value Village. I paid about $4 an outfit. They will also let you sell your clothes to them. I took in a bunch that I thought were ok and they only bought two. It just reinforced to me that they want the best and cutest clothes here. They also sell baby "equipment" like exersaucers, toys, etc.
