Grand mart is a great place to go when looking to make an authentic enthic meal. There are many items that are found here that are not at a typical American supermarket. I love the fact that they carry Mellon Bars(I can't find them anywhere else)! The prices are also great! Fresh Produce and Seafood. The Lines can get long on some weekends, so I alwaystry to go during the week.

This small sized market, is exactly what you would expect from a groumet market. Although it is small, it has many items which are not typically found in the ordinary supermarkets, and has a great selection of items. This is a great place to go when you are preparing somehting special at home, and cannot find certain items in your regular supermarket. As with other gourmet markets, the prices are slightly higher, but I believe it is well worth it. They also offer a wide array of healthy alternatives to everyday food.

It is very much a hands on museum, as kids can play with a penduleum, floating beach ball and irrigation in the sand. They also have special exhibits that pass through, which are usually very fun. They also have an omniverse theater with a few different shows optimizing the effects of the theater.

Eatzi's is one of my favorite places to grab lunch. We even have had them cater to our office a few times because everyone love's their food. They offer a wide selection to choose from ranging from sandwhiches to salads. They' offer great and friendly service as well. Their products are always fresh and very tasty. They aren't cheap, but aren't too expesive either!

Their Bubble Tea is Ok on a good day, usually it is not mixed well (still powdery) and many times the bubbles are quite mushy. The price is quite expensive for such poor bubble tea. They also offer a few dishes, but I would not recommend anything other than the Sweet potato fries, which I really did enjoy. The space is a lil cramped, and can get loud if it is busy, but all in all I would prefer a trip to Chinatown for bubble tea. I would only go here is I could not get down to Chinatown.

This shop, located on Elm Street has a small and general selection of pet needs. The employees are very informative and helpful. They also encourage you to bring your pets along into the store, so they can meet your pets. They are all great with my pet Snoodle. They also are great at making recommendations, they recommened greenies to my dog, and she loves em! It's also good for my dog.
The items in the store are also resonably priced, so there is no real need to go to a pet food mart like PetSmart

Great place to go for a Traditional Vietnamese Hoagie. They also carry great Iced Coffee, Vietnamese Style. Although the store is take out only, the food is great! Whenever in the area, I always buy at least 6, because when u buy 5 you get 1 free. They are great to eat for lunch or dinner, or just a snack! The fresh bread is made each morning, so if you go early, you can have the hoagies on the freshly baked bread, which is to die for!

This is a great place to take the family on a nice day, as you will be in for a long day of walking. There aren't many indoor exhibits, but they have a large variety of animals. With the new Panda cubs, as well as the Cheetah Cubs, there is a lot going on at the National Zoo. The great thing is since it is the National Zoo there is no admission fee. I will admit the shape of the zoo itself is not very convenient, It is not a full circle route that you could take, as there is only one walk in entrance and so when you finish walking the zoo, you have double back to the exit, or to the parking lot where you parked your car.

The Philadelphia Zoo is a great place to take out the family on a nice day. The grounds are easily accessible by car or SEPTA. I will admit the price is fairly steep, but you can spend a few extra bucks to become a member with special perks. There is also a student discount, and a half day fare which i believe starts at 3PM. The zoo is well maintained, and there are a large variety of different animals. Many of the exhibits are great, and offer an abundant amount of information. Volunteers, as well as staff are very friendly and informative.

It took me a surprisingly long time to find a nice simple bowling alley to go bowl with friends. Bowl America, is a classic alley without the fancy smancy neon lights and bar. The staff is very friendly, and the lanes don't have many issues with resetting etc. The lanes are also well oiled, for anyone who does not straight bowl, and can tell the difference.. There is a small arcade, and a food service/bar area. I particularly like their weeknight special. Sunday through Thursday nights 9pm to 1AM is $9 all you can bowl per person.
