After waiting a month to get a reservation at this place, we were looking forward to enjoying this place. Babbo has gotten rave reviews forever, so we expected nothing less than wonderful. Our experience was not as expected, however, as first the waiter tried to seat us downstairs. After waiting longer, we finally got the table we wanted upstairs. The food was just okay... nothing to write home about. Dessert was really the best part of the night; the chocolate praline cake was the best thing I ever tried. But overall, not worth the wait, the money and the calories.

It became popular after being featured in Sex & the City, but everyone has gone to Samba by now. And if you haven't, you're totally out of the loop. SugarCane Bar next door is worth checking out as well!

Omelettes are fluffy and delicious, muffins/scones melt in your mouth, and everything is fresh as well. The country-home atmosphere tops it off.

Presentation is lacking... my chicken dish was served as a brown soupy pile of mush in a bowl. Not recommended.

One of my favorite restaurants in NYC, Kittichai is just amazing. From the cool water pond in the middle of the restaurant and floating candles to the great service, this place has the best Thai you can find in a beautiful location. The chicken kefir soup was rated best appetizer in New York magazine, and it certainly is! Everything is delicious, definitely book your reservation now!

This is a great deal... they charge slightly more than your regular hole-in-the-wall sushi place, but the sushi is mostly fish so it is well worth it. Spectacular and fresh, Tomoe is worth the line that wraps around the corner. You may have to wait 30 minutes to an hour, but once you sit down you'll know why you did.
