Good, not great. I had heard great things, but was a little disappointed when my husband and I took our 1 1/2 and almost 4 year old boys for a visit. We were expecting lots of climbing jungle gyms, etc. The boys enjoyed it because there are lots of balls to throw around, but after a while they got bored. It's a cool concept because there is free internet access, media center, free coffee/tea, manicures, spa, etc. for the adults. It's just that you can't do any of these things without paying extra for for childcare (for children under 2 yrs.), which consists of a yoga class, music class, etc. These classes are above and beyond the $199 annual membership. I think it's great for super busy parents who both work, but if 1 parent is at home or you have a very flexible I don't think it's worth the money. There are lots of other great options out there!

I found this Kennel off Judy's book and was a bit skeptical. My dog is pretty hiper and was nervous about leaving her for a few days. When we returned, Rhonda, the owner gave me a complete summary of what they did (play in dog park, slept well at night, etc.), just like she was a little child. Rhonda was very caring and a true dog lover. The kids sleep in the house at night in their own beds, there is a huge back yard for them to play in, and she takes them to Magnuson daily. Definitely will go back to Canine Connection.

We searched for a gym that would meet all of our needs (including childcare) and love the Seattle Athletic Club downtown. It has so many offerings: yoga classes, interval training, spinning,...
We searched for a gym that would meet all of our needs (including childcare) and love the Seattle Athletic Club downtown. It has so many offerings: yoga classes, interval training, spinning, aerobics, pool, basketball court, squash, etc. It has a huge free weight area, massage therapists, deli, validated parking etc. It's sometimes a fun little family jaunt when you want to get your morning workout and then explore the market, etc.
It's not inexpensive, but if you want an all around good club with many offerings, this is it.
