I had the Passion fruit Ice tea with boba (pearls) here. They name all there teas after the Chinese Zodiac, so I forgot the animal name of it. The pearls (boba) in my tea were not fully cooked so I had and the tea wasn't that great either. Also I thought everything was overpriced. I would recommend you drive to westwood or go on sawtelle to find better tea.

I think it would be a nice place to go if you want to catch up with someone or have a casual date. The sandwiches are good, too. Sometimes if the place gets crowded they move you to a smaller table if a bigger group rolls around, that can get annoying. There is valet parking, but if you are wiiling to drive around you can park in the neighborhood. Also you can risk it and park at the nearby Ralph's, but I heard they check sometimes.

I have never had the food they sell there. They also have free internet and the place can get packed, especially during finals week at UCLA.

My favorite dishes from this place has got to be the carne asada fries and the california burrito. Everything is inexpensive no frills no thrills kinda place. My tip is that if you are ordering something " to go" you have to call first and then pick it up. This way you have priority if there is a long line which is pretty common.

Sometimes I see people come in to the restaurant just for dessert and a coffee. There is never a wait and there is a parking structure. The parking is free if you go at the right time, but costs $3 at busier times.

I went to eat at Palms Thai on a very busy Friday at lunch. The place was very, very noisy and it took almost 45 minutes for my boyfriend and I to recieve our lunch special we ordered. Also I ordered a special tea drink and they forgot to make it. The food that did come ended up being too heavily spiced ( and trust me I can handle ver very spicy foods). Also they seemed way understaffed the day we ate there. Over it was not a good experience. I am giving this place an OK because the previous time I went It was mediocre.

This place is inexpensive yet elegant. It is located in the heart of Brentwood. I was a regular there and the service was great. The lunch specials are also a good deal. There is a parking structure and the waitresses always remind you about validation. My favorite dishes are the panang curry, tongdang basil beef, and the spicy beef salad. Overall this is one of my favorite places to eat.
