I recently visited the shell station with some gas cards I had. I found the gas prices to be 2 cents lower then the station on the corner. The food they sell is of good quality, and I always find the employees nice. I would recommend this station to anyone in the area. The bathroom was clean when I used them as well. I really can't say anything bad against this station except for the busy intersection (getting in and out).

Winn Dixie is not a great store to shop. However, this store is dirty. I don't like it at all. Even when you see them cleaning the store and they get done, it looks nasty. And, I have gotten bad produce and bad frozen foods there. In fact, I have never gotten any frozen foods there that are good. Update: this store is closing. Update: this store is not in existence anymore. They closed it. Right now the building is empty. They are advertising for someone to come in.

I like to go to this particular McDonald's for breakfast. Breakfast is such a luxury in my houshold, that I don't want to waste it on any other place. I love their breakfast a lot. They have so much to choose from. They must be doing something right for breakfast because they have so many people there then. It's really quite busy at that time. The employees can be nice, but usually they are like robots. You ask them something, and either they look as you as if you have six heads, or they admit they don't know (and don't want to find out for you! LOL).

Monterrey Mexican Restaurant may be the place you should go for Mexican food. Now let me lists the cons, which may seem like a lot, but it isn't. The restaurant is very small. They are not very friendly. You sometimes have to wait a long time for your food or for a refill or to even get the server's attention. Now for the pros: they are good. They have great-tasting food. The cheese dip for the nachos are wonderful. You might need a refill of chips if you get it, so be prepared to flag down a server. I recommend this place at three stars because I don't feel it deserves anymore.

I go to Taste-T-Drive-In for their cheeseburgers.The name of this place is a drive-in, but really it's not. You have to park in order to order food. You have to go to the window. You can't order from your car. They do take call-in orders, which is what I like to do. I don't like waiting there, so I usually call my order in and they will tell you when it will be ready. Usually it's like 15 minutes or so. I love going there because it has great food and great prices. What else can you ask for?!? Well, maybe crinkle cut fries! WHAT? They have them? Yes, they do. What a great place to eat then! LOL!

They also have fish, and I love their fish. Many go there for their salads, but I don't care for their salads at all. I like the way I am treated at this restaurant. On the times I have had a problem, they've corrected them right away. Great food at great prices. What more can you ask for?

I go there sometimes, and when I do, I always think about when I may come back again, it's that good. I like food a lot here. I like almost everything about this place. Walmart Supercenter gets me to their store for many reasons. They are the best for one thing. They have several businesses under one roof, some of which include a bank, several food stores, an optometrist, and much more. I like going there for my groceries as well. Prices in the store are the lowest in Shelby on regular prices in my opinion. They are simply marvelous. I like the way I am treated in this Wal-Mart. I feel wanted as a customer, as opposed to many Walmarts I have visited in the past.

Located at the Intersection of Highway 180 and Highway 74, this store is the best. It's the biggest and most people choose this store over the other store in this town because it's very small. This particular store gets me there because I like it. I like it because it's huge. I like it because the store's employees are nice and kind and very helpful. The cashiers are very knowledgeable. The prices are also very competitive. This store is the best one for Shelby.

One Stop Food Stores has just gone up in my book. There is a new lottery in the state, and it's bad to go into a station wanting to pay for a cup of coffee or a Coke or something, but you have to wait in line for 67899 people buying lottery tickets in order for you to pay for your stuff. Not so here. The owner says he will never get approved to sell lottery tickets because he doesn't like it. He says his customers say the same thing I am saying...not for this business. Time will tell, I guess. But for now .... I love it.
