This is a fantastic diner type "joint". Not fancy, but real good. Enter into this crowded space, go down a step or two, and find yourself a booth. The menu is endless, you can get anything from burgers, to Greek specialties to all kinds of pizzas. The portions are amazing---just HUGE and very tasty. A great place to take a group of kids, have fun and not worry about cleaning up. Don't forget to get your balloon on the way out!

It is kind of stuffy, way overpriced and not very flexible. We really love the idea of a neighborhood place for tea with friends and / or the little ones, but this is just not the place.

One of the best "undiscovered" museums in Manhattan for children (and well, the whole family really!), is the Whitney museum, on the Upper East Side. This is a great place to introduce your children to the joys of going to a museum. It is small enough not to feel overwhelming, and has enough of a range of small changing exhibits to make it interesting, no matter how often you go. They have special classes that you can sign up for, and a wonderful audio tour- with stops just for kids. Go on a Friday night, and admission is pay what you wish!

A friend had recommended this practice, and since by doctor had retired, I thought I would check them out. I saw Dr. Desiree Clarke,a nd thought she was excellent-kind, caring and super prodessional. Nice office - though a bit hard to get through on the phone.

We love going to Dr. Piesman. He is a low key , yet very professional alternative to one pediatric dental "factory" that is popular on the Upper West Side. He is kind and gentle, and great with the children. You can get an appointment relatively quickly, and the office staff is very friendly.
