Arnauld's Restaurant is located at 813 Rue Bienville, offers the ultimate in a New Orleans dining experience. I love this place! It's awesome. It's very elegant for any occasion. The prices are great. I was shocked when I saw the prices because most are really cheap. For instance, Oysters on the Half Shell is only $8, while the Oysters Rockfeller is only 11. Beware, though the prices for the fish and a few other dishes are much, much more. For example, the Gulf Snapper Mitchell is $26 and the Pompano Duarte (shrimp) is $32.
The restaurant rocks! The wait staff is great as well. I don't think you will go wrong in visiting this restaurant.

The website suggest whatever you do, order for dessert the Bananas Foster (for breakfast or dinner). They are definately correct, as that is the best l have ever tasted. l love it a lot. The TROUT AMANDINE, TROUT PECAN, or the CHICKEN ESPLANADE is very good. l also like the SHRIMP SAMANTHA WITH ANDOUILLE or the CHICKEN LAZONE. l will always be a patron of this restaurant since it's in the heart of the French Quarter and since the food is out of this world. Even the wait staff is great.

Located near Wrightsville Beach, you can be sure this restaurant has the best food. You can walk along the pier or take a stroll next to the water before or after eating. It's a joy! l love this place a lot, and l have been going there for a long time. The prices are ok, the wait staff is great, and the food is fantastic. They have daily specials as well and are open 364 days a year, being closed on Christmas Day. You will enjoy this place a much as we do. Trust me!

They have a great menu, with a wide variety of selections in which to choose. We love the Seared Tuna served rare with jasmine rice, seaweed salad, wasabi and ginger with our soy vinaigrette, Fried Calamari with a ginger lime and sweet chili sauces, or the Cornmeal fried wild catfish with lemon cream and black-eyed pea relish over wild rice. The Low country shrimp and grits with country ham, tomatoes and red onion over stone ground cheddar cheese grits or the Bourbon and peach glazed double cut bone-in pork chop with carrot garlic mashed potatoes and collards is great as well. You won't go wrong in choosing the place. lt's elogent and really fantastic.

The prices are a little expensive, so be prepared.l always get the WOOD GRILLED HALF OF DEBONED CHICKEN, ESPRESSO RUBBED BEEF TENDERLOIN, or the WOOD GRILLED (18 OZ) BLACK ANGUS BONELESS RIB EYE STEAK. The SEASONAL VEGETABLE PLATTER is also very good and low in calories.

Ocean Eddies Seafood Restaurant is located at 1500 Atlantic Ave in VA Beach. I was surprised, as was another reviewer, that VA charges a fee to walk on the piers. While I do understand why, I think that is something I would never pass if I were a legislator. The restaurant was quite busy. They were nice and kind and we didn't have to wait that long. They are a great little seafood place. I loved the trio I got. Recommended to all.

Atlas Grill & Bar is located at 2135 General Booth Blvd. I love going here because there never is much of a wait even on Sundays or the weekend. That doesn't mean this place is bad. Quite the contrary! This place rocks! It's so good I wish it were closer by me. But then again, I would be going there often, which wouldn't suit my waistline, LOL! I enjoy all their food, as there isn't much I have tried and not liked. The employees are good as well.

Pungo Pizza & Ice Cream is located at 1824 Princess Anne Rd in VA Beach. I love going here because it's a family type atmosphere. I think out of all the family type restaurants in the area, this one ranks right up there. Having ice cream after pizza is just cool in my book. And, you can do that in this same restaurant. The pizza is great, though, so you may not have room for the ice cream.

Jake's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que is located at 1784 General Booth Blvd in VA Beach. I love going here because the food is quite good. The portions are generous, and the employees are good. I like going here for other reasons as well, namely the fried pickles and friend macaroni. Like someone else said, it is more like a feast, than a restaurant. We have eaten here as many times as we can, but we are not in the area that much. Jake's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que rocks!
