I love the Encounter Restaurant. It's located at the Los Angeles International Airport, terminal 6. It's easy to find, ask anyone. You will probably see it, though, as it is in the middle. I love the place. It's a retro 60s theme restaurant, with sci fi built in, with bongo laced music and stuff. It's so cool. I love the food as well. The costumes the servers are wearing are great, and they really add to the atmosphere. Whoever thought of this restaurant is very intelligent and should be rewarded 10-fold. LOL! Even the mailing/street address of this place is way cool: 201 World Way !http://www.encounterlax.com/ www.encounterLAX.com is their website. You can get more information from there, their hours, etc.

August Restaurant is located in New Orleans at 301 Tchoupitoulas Street. It's located in the central business district in a renovated townhouse. Don't let that fool you. Their website is located at http://www.rest-august.com/index1.html www.rest-august.com/index1.html. Go here and see what you think. You can find a lot of information there. I loved the restaurant. I have only visited one time, and I simply adored it--everything about it. The wait staff was very attentive, nice, and kind, and I was amazed that she took up a lot of her time helping us with questions about New Orleans. That was very sweet, and her help really was just that: a lot of help! The atmosphere was great. I felt at ease there, and I wanted to stay lobger just to sit there for a while and chat, but we had to be somewhere else. I have heard lunch is a geat time to visit, although we came for dinner.

Tortorici's Italian Restaurant is a place in New Orleans. It is the French Quarter's oldest Italian restaurant, serving 95 years of traditional Italian and Creole cooking. It is located at 441 Rue Royal (corner of Royal & St.Louis). Even though most fine dining restaurants in New Orleans require jackets for gentlemen, this place does not. That didn't turn me off at all, as I loved it, and will come back for more when I can. I have visited three times in the past. The place just keeps getting better and better. I love it a lot. On their website, http://www.tortoricis.com/ www.tortoricis.com, you can take a virtual video tour. That was amazing, and I loved it very much. You may also make reservations, ask questions, see their menus, and a lot more. The food is not cheap, so please do come prepared. I loved the Tortorici's Trio (beef tenderloin medallion topped with a mushroom sauce, chicken breast with a Creole crawfish sauce, Louisiana shrimp scampi with pasta and vegetable), the Veal Picatta (tender baby veal sauteed with white wine, garlic, mushrooms and capers served with pasta and a vegetable), and the Rack of Lamb (grilled lamb chops served with a Madeira mint sauce, Italian roasted potatoes and chef's vegetable). I have had each of these on a previous visit. I will try something different on my next visit, even though what I had before was perfect. Visit this restaurant. It's awesome.

Lilette Restaurant of New Orleans is a small bistro in Uptown New Orleans offering French-Italine cuisine. It's located at 3637 Magazine Street. They have a website http://www.liletterestaurant.com/ www.liletterestaurant.com, that should answer most of your questions. I enjoyed my visit to the webpage just now as it refreshed a lot of the things I would have forgotten otherwise. I am not sure if reservations is required, but you can make them online if they are. We always made reservations. To me, this place is the ultimate in fine dining. I say that because the place is small and everything just seems so "right." I love the prcies, as the prices are not bad at all especially for this type of place. For food choices I always get appetizers because I don't eat much. I like the eggplant crisps with skordalia, oven dried roma tomatoes, basil and oil cured olives, the duck confit with baby greens and Vidalia onion vinaigrette, and the white truffle parmigiano toast with wild mushrooms with marrow and veal glace. I have each of those on a previous visit and loved every bit of each of them. They serve a variety of items for you to choose from, so I am sure you will find something to your liking. I love this place so much, that's it's my favorite in New Orleans. Of course, it helps that I go to New Orleans frequently!

Herbsaint Bar and Restaurant is located in the Central Business District at 701 St. Charles Avenue. I love this place! It's a moderately-pricey restaurant, so please come prepared. On its website http://www.herbsaint.com/ www.herbsaint.com, it has listed many professional reviewers who have reviewed this restaurant. The restaurant consistently gets an average of a "4." It only takes one person to knock them out of a perfect 5, so be assured getting a 4 is fantastic and out of this world! Besides a restaurant and a bar, they have private dining, request that you make reservations, and have special events. All this is covered on their homepage. I love the Olive Oil Seared Gnocchi with Lemon, Parmesan and Local Tomatoes, the Shrimp and Green Chile Grits Cakes with Tasso Cream Sauce, and the Beef Short Rib on Potato Cake with Dijon-Horseradish Dressing, as I have gotten each of them on a previous visit. I also like the Housemade Spaghetti with Pancetta and Fried-Poached Farm Egg! I know you will love it here, so don't wait. Go as soon as you can and see what you have been missing.

Enjoy Cajun Music and Dancing at Michaul's Live Cajun Music Restaurant! Michaul's Live Cajun Music Restaurant, on the streetcar line in New Orleans, at 840 St. Charles Avenue ini New Orleans, Louisiana. It is a fascinating restaurant and location indeed. http://www.michauls.com/ www.michauls.com is their website, so I suggest you go there and read more about this place, as it has more than I could I ever put in this review. They have been reviewed by professionals for years, and they consistently rank at the top! They have live music, private parties, a gift shop, and much, much more. The food is outstanding. I love the Deluxe Cajun Family Style Sampler and the Fried Catfish, as I have gotten both of those during my last two visits here. The wait staff is great, and they seem to really want you as a customer! I love going here so much, and I know you will as well. Good luck!

"The grand dame of New Orleans' old-line restaurants, Galatoire's has remained committed to culinary excellence for more than a century." Galatoire's Restaurant is located at 209 Bourbon Street. It is not a "cheap" restaurant, so please come prepared. This restaurant consistently gets an average of a "4" when professionally reviewed, almost a "5." I love this place! The website is located at http://www.galatoires.com/ www.galatoires.com. You can find more information there. They have been in business for more than 100 years, so they know how to do a restaurant and keep customers coming back for more. Locals love this place. (BTW, jackets are required.)
On the menu, I love the Crabmeat Sardou or the Lamb Chops Béarnaise. I look forward to dining here again.

Christian's Restaurant of New Orleans serves creole food and classic French cuisine. It is located at 3835 Iberville Street. According to their website http://www.christiansrestaurantneworleans.com/ www.christiansrestaurantneworleans.com, the restaurant is closed because of Katrina. However, a friend was in New Orleans a week ago, and he says he knows Christian's is open. So, I will review Christian's on the basis of my last visit which was right before Katrina.
The restaurant is awesome. It really rocks. The wait staff is great. They are willing to answer your questions regarding New Orleans. In fact, we took up a lot of her time doing just that. I loved going here, so I really hope they are up and running again.
The restaurant was first opened in 1973, but in 1975 I think, they moved the restaurant into a church. "Now the floodlit steeple is a landmark that draws both residents and visitors to the restaurant to experience the distinguished cuisine and the architectural ambiance."
The menu has a wonderful variety of fresh seafood, poultry and meat dishes. But they have Chef's Specials of the Day, which are I understand are very good. When I was there, I got the Roasted Pork Loin Chop and topped it off with the Baked Alaska Dessert.

New Orleans Creole Restaurant is located in Seattle, Washington at 114 1st Ave South. It's easy to find. I have dined here one time, and I found it to be awesome. I went because I had heard it was great and because it was a "New Orleans Restaurant."
The website to this restaurant is http://www.neworleanscreolerestaurant.com/ www.neworleanscreolerestaurant.com. It has a lot more information there, so I recommend that you go there and give it a look.
The price are what you would expect in a restaurant of this calibre. For instance, I got the Chicken Cordon Bleu which was $12. My friend got the Pan Fried Oysters for $10. So these prices are not bad at all. The dishes were absolutely surperb. The resaturant is wonderful.
I was told this is a locals' favorite. I know I will be back when I am in Seattle. The wait staff was able to answer some questions about Seattle for us, and for one of those questions, he went out of his way to get us the answer. I was impressed with this restaurant all the way around.

I have been here twice. Both times I ordered the Black Skillet Seared Muscovy Duck Breast. It is awesome. I love it so much.
The wait staff is wonderful. They are also willing to answer your questions about New Orleans you wish. They are really nice.
This place is put up by Brennan's, the famous people who have a restaurant by the same name. You will certainly be "dined" if you go here.
