50's style diner - good atmosphere, good food

Monday, October 31, 2005
Previously Laura's Bluebonnet Kitchen (and this is how it shows up on your credit card statement), it's a 50's style diner. Vintage tables, chairs, and appliances and a dining counter complete the atmosphere. I've only been there for breakfast, but they've always been great. The ginger pancakes are my favorite. They have everything on the menu that you'd expect to see on a diner menu, plus, of course (we are in Texas, after all), the Tex-Mex standards. If you decide on pancakes, they're happy to fill or top them with a fruit (bananas, strawberries, blueberries...) or chocolate chips, or all of the above, if you'd like. The portions are large and the prices are good.
