My boyfriend and I along with our friends like the Lucky Strike bowling alley. It is a really cool place to hand out. They have a DJ and a bar to keep you entertained while you wait for a lane to free up because the place does get really busy. They don't have free parking available, only a parking garage at a fee.

My boyfriend loves his new car and often takes it to the Gardena Car Wash to have it detailed. The facilty is fairly clean with a lot of guys there to do the detailing so you don't have to wait for very long to get your car back. They do a very pretty. good job. I think their prices are a tad on the expensive side though.

My boyfriend and I went to the Gardena Honda to look at a car that my boyfriend is wanting to buy. As soon as we parked and got out of the car a sales guy came over right away and asked if he could help us find anything. He was very aggressive and pushy in his sales tactics, he just reminded me of a vulture. We left and went somewhere else.

My boyfriend dragged me to visit the Museum of Neon Art with him on their free admission day. He likes neons signs of all things and even has a couple in his apartment. The museum is pretty nice with a vast collection of neon art by many artists. I am not really a fan so I did not fully appreciate it as my boyfriend did but I still enjoyed myself nonetheless.

I received a gift certificate for a pottery class at the Peach Tree Pottery a year ago. The certificate was for just a single session but I still learned quite a lot anyways. I really had a great time learning the techniques of pottery making and got to even glaze and burn my pottery in the kiln. The instructor was very nice and patient.

My boyfriend was shopping for a pool table and we found Spa World that sells not only spas but also pool tables, foosball tables, air hockey tables and barbeque grills. The staff was very friendly and courteous. They were able to answer questions knowledgeably as well. Their prices were a tad more than other places though.

My best friend takes yoga classes at the Sundo Yoga School and had taken me along one time to try it out. It is a pretty nice facility with a calming atmosphere. The instructor was very friendly and welcoming. She invited me to join along and even her voice was very calming and soothing.

The Museum of Contemporary Art is located in a brick red building. They have a wonderful collection of artwork in the contemporary style in paintings, sculptures. The staff there are very knowledgeable too and are able to answer questions about the artists quite readily. The exhibit they have when I visited is the works by Jean-Michel Basquiat's. The only downside is that parking is difficult to find where the museum is located.

Cirrus Gallery is conveniently located near the freeway by Little Tokyo. The building is blue on the outside and inside the walls are all white. This is an art gallery showcasing contemporary works of art like paintings, scultures, photography. The last time I went they were exhibiting art work by Gillian Theobald. A very nice gallery for those who love contemporary art.

I went to this museum to get extra credit for a class I was taking at my local community college and I was struck by the poignant struggles Japanese Americans went through here in the U.S. during World War II.
