Freedom Weekend Aloft is a weekend long full of food, fun, music, faces, freebies, and sight-seeing. Held each Memorial Day Weekend, it's sponsored by GMC/Pontiac. You can buy souvenirs, ride hot air balloons (as this is what it is really about), listen to talented music acts, or much more. One time Charles Daniels Band came. It's so neat. I love going each year! Call them and they'll send you a bulletin of events, at least they did for me.
