New India bazar was my absolute favorite grocery store when I lived in Santa Clara. The best part of the store is its courteous and friendly staff. The variety is great for vegetables, groceries and fresh snacks and they often had promotion that gave free dvd rentals on purchases over $20 (free video over $10)
I once purchased a coconut which turned out to be bad when i used it at home. I casually mentioned it at my next visit, and they asked me to take another coconut free of cost and apologised for the bad one.
