Texas Stadium is a good stadium to go watch football at. It is getting old but they are planning on replacing it. The worst part about it is trying to get to it because it is on loop 12 and it makes it difficult to exit and get to the parking. The stands are nice but they have the older - really hard seats. There are only like 5 ATMs in the whole stadium and the lines are always long. But it is in a good neighborhood and safe to take kids to Cowboy games or games that high school football teams play there.

Main Event is a fun place to go bowling and also be able to play video games and games where you can win tickets to get prizes. It is a great rainy day place to go where you can take the kids and they have lots of options on what to play. It is normally crowded and very loud. There always seems to be a child's birthday party going on and kids running around everywhere. The prices are pretty good - a little expensive to bowl but the games are normal price and the kids get a chance to get a prize.

Dallas North Aquarium is a great place to find those hard to find fish or fish tank equipment. I have had to go to find a filter attachment that I couldn't find anywhere else and they had it. The store is packed full of fish and aquariums that are very well maintained. I was surprised that the staff wasn't very knowledgeable on the filters but they did find someone to look it up for me. The prices are on the high end but it is normal for a specialty fish store. There was plenty of parking and the store was clean.

Monarch Dental is not the best option if you can find other alternatives. Appointments have to be made long in advance and then you wait when you get to the office. The seem to be better teeth cleaning than other dental work. It really seemed to me it was there goal to see as many patients as humanly possible. I did not like the experience. It seemed to me like you were just a number not a patient.

If you are visiting Dallas or never been to Reunion Tower it is a must. You take an elevator to the top of the tower. From there you can see the beautiful skyline of Dallas. My favorite time is to go is at night so you can see all the buildings lite up. The room revolves slowly around in a circle. The main menu is a little pricey but worth it for the view and the experience. If you want a less expensive option appetizers and a drink is a less expensive way to go. If you have never been or have guest coming this is a neat place to go. It is an unforgettable experience.

Elliots hardware is a neat specialty hardware store. They offer lots of things that you can not find in the large chain hardware stores. The employees are always helpful and friendly. Elliott's has grown from a small store over the years but they have not lost their down home customer service. I think this may be the only one left. The Grapevine store has closed in recent months. Which is sad to see.

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is the best place for a chocolate fix. They have everything imaginable. My personal favorite is the chocolate covered strawberries. They are huge. The also have a large selection of covered apples. The apples are covered in many different ways. The candy selection is enormous. The have choclate covered apricots and chocolate covered pretzels too. If you like chocolate this is the place for you. The prices are a little high but worth every penny.

My husband started a charm bracelet from there and has been adding two on different occasions.The bracelet and charms are very well crafted. The have held up to everyday wear beautifully. The all kinds of themed jewelry the main one being Christian themed, so there is an assortment of crosses and other Christian symbols. The store in Southlake is great too.
