Kezar isn't my favorite place in Cole Valley, but it's still a good bet if you want a more formal place (ie waiter and sit-down) but don't want to pay up for Eos.
Their burgers are known to be great.
Pass on the taco/Mexican dish, too small.
Their anti-pasta appitizer is excellent.
