If you're in old town Sacramento and want to eat some candy, this is your spot. Candy Heaven lets you sample just about every type of candy they have which is saying a lot. They have all kinds of different candy. Lot's of the items I'd never seen before, some I just hadn't seen in a long time. If you're near the store do yourself a favor and stop in, at the very least for a samply of free taffy or something!

When we go to Napa, we ALWAYS go to Domaine. I absolutely love this winery. There's just something about drinking wine or champaign out of the terrace of the mansion that is on the property. The mansion is up a bit of a hill so you have a beautiful view of the winery and surrounding area. The service is great here and they know a lot about their wine and sparkling wines. My favorite is the Rose, it's dreamy! It is a bit expensive but worth stopping at for a glass or two.

I've never tried to shop at this open air mall in the rain but I have to think that it wouldn't be fun! It's a great mall, just park in the underground parking lot and buy something, anything to get your parking pass validated and you get a free 3 hours. The mall has most of your normal mall shops and some fun ones added in. If you're a sports fan, there's a great collectibles shop here. It's just a nice place to be out on a sunny San Diego day. It can get a little frustrating if you don't know your way around but once you figure it out you'll be set for life!

I love this sushi bar. It is right down the street from Horton Plaza so just park at the mall parking lot and walk on over to Ra. The interior of this restaurant is cool and classy. The menu selection isn't anything to write home about but the food is. It's all very well done. My favorite is the gyoza which are the best I've ever had. I really enjoyed lunch at Ra and that's really the time to go. Less expensive and less crowded than dinner.

I really like shopping at this Petsmart. They have one of everything and the store is kept neat and clean which makes it comfortable to shop in. I've taken the dog training classes here and wouldn't recommend those really. They just didn't work out well for us, but you might have a different experience. Otherwise, the store and staff are great. I like how helpful and knowledgeable they are. Really makes me confident in my purchases.

I love this place! It's well designed to be open and airy, although it can get backed at busy times. The food there is great and the beer is even better. I was surprised at the variety of food they offered. Rather up scale and very well done but the prices are very reasonable. I also recommend stopping in the gift shop next door, lots of fun t-shirts and that sort of thing. Two thumbs up for sure!

I love Jamba Juice. It's just the best when you don't feel like eating something hot or fast food like, give Jamba a try. I have to point out though for those of you watching what you eat, that this isn't as great for you as it may seem. They have a book in the store where you can look up the nutritional values of all the shakes and they're super high in sugar and calories. That being said, there are worse things for you. I like treating myself to a jamba every now and again and the staff here is great to boot.

I love the Pacific Street Cafe. They are always really busy but they get you in quickly and the service is never lacking. They have great prices on your usual selection of breakfast food. You can often find 2 for 1 coupons in the Penny Saver so if you're looking for an increadible deal, clip that coupon and head on down. Just give yourself a few minutes extra time to wait to be seated and find a parking spot. Weekend mornings this place is super popular!

The reason I love this salon is first that they are open early on Sunday's which is when I like to get my nails done. They open at 10am and most shops aren't open at all on Sunday. I really appreciate that I can just walk in and start my nails. Most of the people are really friendly and the price is great. The only issue I've had is that it seems like it takes forever to get your nails done, and they always try and make me get fiberglass fills instead of acrylic. Otherwise, I highly recommend them.

This was the first place in town that I tried out when I needed to have my nails done. The shop its self is nice and looks very clean and well kept. Aside from that, there really isn't anything special about this place. The person doing my nails took 2 personal phone calls on her cell phone in the middle of things. The only thing she seemed concerned about was if her boss saw her or not, she couldn't have cared less about me. My nails looked alright but the cost of having your nails done here just isn't worth it I don't think.
