Normandale Veterinary Hospital is a great clinic in Edina just off France Avenue and W76th Street. It's not to far from 494 and France.
Normandale provides most veterinary services and is a great place to board your animals while on vacation.
The staff is friendly and Dr. Hallstrom is not only great with the pets, but great with the owners.
You can also buy all your pet's medications and food there as well.

Ilko Family Practice is a great general practice clinic in Woodbury. I have always received good service and have always been able to get an appointment the same day I called. The clinic strives to be a true family practice that clients can depend on. I have found this to be true. Ilko Family Practice is conveniently located off of Woodlane Drive and Valley Creek Road.

If you like Asian cuisine and have enjoyed LeeAnn Chin, but are looking for something more upscale, then look no further! Chin's Asia Fresh includes staples from the LeeAnn Chin menu, but also some additional entrees. Guests have the option of ordering their entrees (which are served by staff) or taking their meals to go.
The Woodbury location is in a great spot, they have excellent service and the restaurant is always clean. TWO THUMBS UP!

Five Oaks is a great church situated in southern Woodbury off of Radio Drive and Bailey Road. The church has three services, one on Saturday night and two on Sunday morning. Pastor Williams is a very good speaker. Currently the sermons are centered around the book Purpose Drive Life.
Music at Five Oaks is always energetic and contemporary. The church usually includes either a drama, special music or a multi-media presentation in the service.
The church strongly emphasizes participation in small groups. I currently belong to a small group and it has been great for meeting new people.
The church also has excellent children's programs.
If you are looking for a good church, I definitely suggest Five Oaks!

Cafe Latte is one of the best places to get desserts in the Twin Cities. It is conveniently located off of Grand and Victoria in St. Paul. There is some street parking available, but also an affordable ramp close by. The neighborhood also has great shopping.
Cafe Latte serves a wide variety of desserts, salads, sandwiches and coffee drinks. I've never been disappointed. Though crowded, I've never had a problem finding a seat in their cafeteria style dining area.
Their desserts are also available to go, so you can bring home a whole cake for an event.
If you haven't tried it, definitely go! It's a must-see in St. Paul!

The Caribou off of Highway 62 and Penn Avenue is a great Caribou. Not only is it in a Lunds, which makes grocery shopping much more enjoyable, but it is also its own store and you can feel comfortable going there just for a cup of joe and not shopping.
Sometimes it can get busy in the morning and I've had to wait, that's my only negative experience.

I love Caribou Coffee a lot. I mean a lot. So I'm usually the first one to stick up for a store even if they give less than stellar service. However, the Caribou on 66th and Lyndale is worth commenting on. I've had several problems there and it just makes me sad. The drinks are still good and I'm glad it's in the neighborhood. I have heard that some staff were recently let go, so I'm hoping that it gets better.

The Minnesota State Fair is a great way to spend a day. There is so much to do at the State Fair, that I don't know where to begin!
I'll start with the food. The State Fair has the best food and almost everything is available on a stick! This year, my favorite "on a stick" item was the pickle's on a stick. I have no idea why, but they are really good. There are always new foods to try at the State Fair. Don't forget Fair Food staples like: cheese curds, Sweet Martha's cookies, French Fries and corn on the cob!
Now, moving on what to do at the Fair. The fair is a great place to see lots of animals. I recently discovered the technology building. The technology building is really cool. The education building always has good freebies.
In addition to the buildings, there are lots of rides, concerts and other booths to visit. I contend that one really needs to spend two days at the Fair to see it all.
The best part of the Fair is people watching. You really see everything at the State Fair.
The worst part of the Fair is that it is crowded, bathrooms are sometimes messy and people can be frustrating. It's also not cheap.
Overall, I give a big thumbs up to the State Fair

Kowalkski's Market is a great place to shop for quality produce and meats. Their selection is much better than Rainbow or Cub. I've been particularly impressed with the produce. The store is clean and has a friendly staff. The store on Grand is a bit on the small side, which can make getting around the store more difficult. There is ample parking for being on Grand Avenue. I'd recommend this as a good place to shop. The other Kowalski's would receive a higher rating because of square footage.
