My daughter moved to Seattle about 5 years ago and every Christmas she beggs her mommy for Benne Wafers and Market Street Sweets is the only place she will accept them from.
I don't blame her. THey make the best benne wafers in Charleston and they're not terribly expensive.
They're located downtown in The Market so parking during the tourist season (read: year round) can be a little sketchy, but trust me--it's worth the circling around. They dont' just have benne wafers, but candied pecans and walnuts and all other kinds of wonderful sweets!
