Shopping, Food, EVERYTHING right in the middle of Downtown
Friday, October 07, 2005
My daughter and son-in-law took me to Westlake Center the first time I visited SEattle and WOW! What a place. It's right in the middle of downtown and has a huge fountain area across the street and a large pedestrian area in front of it. There's always people milling about and passing out flyers for this and pamphlets for that.
The stores are great and rather up-scale, and the food court is HUGE. I've never seen anything like it. There must be literally 50 different food stands there that range from everything from hamburgers to hot-dog-on-a-stick to Indian to Cajun--they even have Mongolian BBQ!
