They even have "vallet stroller parking" and little bottles of water for the parched mamma. They are expensive, but considering it is handmade and very unique it's worth it, especially when they have sales.

Everything is very fresh and their are lavish with the free samples. Just what you need for a pick-me-up or something special.

It seems like evryone is always gushing about how marvelous Jerry;s Deli is and how so many "beautiful people" go there, etc. Honestly, i found their food to be sub par, especially for their exorbanant prices and the service was awful. It was crowded and noisey and didn't have any ambiance, let alone the kind worth overpaying for. There are many other delis that have much better food, and more "beautiful people."

Their prices are less then Jerrys, but on par with other Jewish Dellis (meaning they are a little spendy) but the portions are very generous. They also have yummy pasteries and take out food.

Ruby's is a great restraunt. They are not quite your traditional diner, rather a blast from the past. Here you can get chocolate cokes and thick frosty milkshkes. Oldies music blares from the jukebox. They have fried and cheeseburges, but their other things are teriffic too -- the albacore on rasin bread sounds unusual, but it actually very good. Their prices are on par with diners and they are super kid friendly.

Zankou is a middle eastern rotissrie restrunt. There are a few scattered throughout LA> Their chicken is delectable -- crispy on the outside, moist on the inside. I like to get the chicken plates which includ pita, humus, garlic sauce, tomatos, and pickles. Their hummus is great and their garlic sauce really makes he difference. Its an informal restrunt and not much more than fast food, but much, much better.
