The Boston Duck Tour is great fun for out of towners but even if you live here you can enjoy it - especially good to bring visitors. It is the most fun way to see the city quickly especialy for those that cannot walk long distinces. They bring you all around the city and give great commentary and then drop you into the Charles. Kids can even get a chance to help steer the boat. Best of all, you can quack at the onlookers...and if you are lucky they will quack back!

The Children's Museum of Boston is great for young kids to explore but older kids may become bored quickly - I definately recommend for kids before they are tweens. They have fun exibits and little kids can go grocery shopping and they Japanese subway exhib was even fun for me to explore.

I have never had anything besides Dim Sum here but they not only serve it for weekend brunch but they also have it for dinner also. This place is the real deal and as authentic as in Hong Kong, actually some of it is better than I had in Hong Kong. The only down side is as a non-Chinese speaking person it is harder to know what you are getting so if you know anyone that speaks Cantonese take them along or go with someone that knows Dim Sum the first time. But if you are adventurous you can do it on your own and have a great meal. The prices are low so you can experiment.

The Stockyard is in a really old building and is decorated in old southern style. The restaurant definitely feels different than most other newer feeling steakhouses, the feel is more men in suits with cigars - and they actually sell cigars. The steaks are very good and I recommend trying the oscar style that adds great flavor.

Nick and Rudy's is a good steakhouse with a nice upscale atmosphere. It is locally owned but that does not make them better than the other national steakhouses that are in Nashville. The steaks are good, they give generous portions of the food. This is a favorite of many people and I think it is good but just not great.

Fleming's has great tasting steak in a very environment. This restaurant is great for a romantic dinner but good for a group also. The only problem is that the two times that I went they cooked my petite fillet perfect but over cooked my husband's steak and he had to send it back. Both times they handled it perfectly which makes us go back, that and the fact that it tastes like perfection.

I have only been to Palm Restaurant during lunch but I had probably the best steak of my life or at least close to it. I eat a petite fillet medium rare and it came out perfect with very little seasoning and perfect taste. I also had the creamed spinach that was a delicious side meal to compliment my steak.

Street parking is near impossible so you have to pay but there are a few lots within one block and if you look the prices range. The restaurant is large and can hold very large groups. The menu is large and meets pretty much any of your seafood wants.
