We LOVE this place. It is located across the street from Wolloston Beach and you can eat inside or out. The place is small and attracts a good crowd but you can always find a seat. They are known for their fried fare and have great clams, shrimp and onion rings even if the batter is all the same. The price is totally reasonable too.

Grill 23 has a great reputation and after going there I can see why. My husband and I went for a special night and he thought it was the best steakhouse ever. The steak came out exacty as ordered and the service was very good. They are very pricey though and you need to dress appropriately in jacket for men and suit or dress type clothing for women.

The Oak Bar and the Oak Room is really upscale eating and drinking but it comes at a price. The wine list is extensive but the prices are out of control - a Heitz Cellar bottle was listed for around $120 and I bought the same bottle for around $40. The steak was really good although the chateaubriand took very long but it was well worth it. Wear a jacket, they will not turn you away but you will stand out if you do not.

Joe Tecce's was recommended to me by a co-worker, she eats there all of the time. I thought the food was very good, red sauce type of food. They have several dining rooms including one that has tons of grapes covering all of the walls and makes you feel like you are in Italy if you did not know there were so many other rooms. I prefer smaller restaurants but the food is really good and the place is very nice.

Brasserie Jo is located in the Colonnade Hotel. It feels very authentic and has a 40s feel to it. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner and serve until midnight which is great especially when you are running around site seeing all day. They offer a good variety of foods from lighter meals to full meals. Their waffles are incredible.

I loved staying at the Colonnade not only because it was a really nice hotel but because I love the side of Boston it is on. It is located across the street from the Prudential Center and a short walk to Copley Square, Boyslston and Newbury Ave. The hotel has a roof top pool which I never used but I love that it is there. And their restaurant is very good.

Truffles Fine Confections, what more can I say besides truffles, yum. This place is located in the Prudential Center which is a plus and minus, you cannot walk by without wanting some. Their chocolates are handmade and they also carry gourmet candy. The truffles and candy always taste fresh and totally delicious. Not healthy but worth cheating.

The Skywalk offers a great view of Boston. It is at the top of the Prudential Center and an added fun is that the Prudential Center also has a mall. After September 11 they closed the observation deck for a short time but reopened it even though the Hancock Tower closed their's perminentaly. The views from the skywalk are great, you can see for miles.

Paradise Bakery & Cafe is a great place to get a sandwich for lunch. They are located in the mall which is convenient if you are shopping or if you work nearby. They are a little slow in getting your meal made and the lines can get long but the bread is really fresh and I love their choices. They also make good sides which can be a meal by themself. And their quiche was good.
