Wally's Barbershop is just that - a barber shop. They feature the old fashioned feel and service of a barbershop. My husband won't go anywhere else. They do a great job there and he always says "give the tightest fade" which is where the hair on the sides fades into the hair on top.
He loves the fresh shave, shoulder massage, and general feel of the place. Walk in or call for an appointment, they also do coloring (highlights or tips)

They are living off of this reputation for being around the longest, but if you want a good photographer, look at the photographer's photos, not the name of the place they work for! A studio is only as good as the photographers that work there!
I looked into some of their picture packages, and no way was I going to pay their prices!

I once put a special order in on something because they were out of it and I was promised a phone call when it came in. It never happened. I had to go back in 3 times to see if the item was there, the first two times they knew it had come but couldn't find it. Not good customer service if you ask me!

The deli has the most delicious smoked roasted chickens you can imagine - just get there early or they're gone! The bakery offers delicious items, they make wedding cakes and specialty items, and offer delicious donuts and muffins! They have an in store coffee stand which serves up espresso and made to order pizza's. The wine selection is stupendous and the floral and produce sections are to die for!
Again, they are expensive!!

Bellingham u-haul has the most excellent service! They are very helpful and willing to work with you to fit your moving/storage needs. I had to rent a u-haul truck and they are very affordable. They have general terms and conditions, and are very nice with questions and concerns. They are located almost outside of bellingham, on a busy street, kind of hard to get on and off of, but that's about the only downfall.
The station is very well maintained, and they even have fun Star Trek and other life size cutouts to liven the place up!

Master rentals supplied all the tables and chairs for my wedding in July. I was thoroughly pleased with their service and products. They delivered everything right on time (for a fee) and picked them up as promised. There were no surprises and their prices were the best around for tables and chairs. They allowed us to change the number of things we needed several times, and were always helpful and courteous.

It took 20 minutes to seat us, then we had to sit at a big table with another family. When the waitress FINALLY came and took our orders, she forgot to bring out our tea for 15 minutes. It was like a zoo in there. We were totally cramped, two tables came and ate and left before we were served. The bathroom was horrible, only one for the whole crammed restaurant! I do not recommend wasting your time at the MT. Bakery

If you want to dine in - bring your kids! Under 5 get free spaghetti and Sunday all day is free pop day for everyone! This is a great local owned restaurant - been around for as long as I can remember.
My favorite plate is baked rigatoni - comes covered in bubbly cheese, served with delicious garlic bread. They also have great pizza's and check out their lunch specials!

Unlike other bars around, there is no dancing which for me equates to no nasty guys grinding on me. The crowd ranges from 21(duh) to around probably late 40's (though they get looks if they're alone). If you want to smoke you have to go outside to the patio, which is spacious and has heat lamps.
My latest favorite drink there is the chocolate mint which tastes exactly like melted chocolate chip mint ice cream. Before that my favorite was the Gummi Bear -which came with Gummi Bears on a skewer! Too fun!

Actually, the only thing that is the same is the prices. The quality of food has gone down hill considerably. For me, the only good time to go there is with a coupon from the Entertainment book for a two for one.
The food certainly isn't awful, just basic and expensive. I have found that the shrimp skewers are pretty good. The atmosphere is okay, besides the beautiful bay view of Bellingham Bay, it is outdated and frequently empty. Mostly a crowd of older folks, and a few at the bar. The music is horrible, service is okay.
