If you are desperate to play a round, do not have a ride, and are stranded at this golf course for some reason, you might as well play a round.
This short golf course is frequented by plenty of people, sadly, most of them can't play golf. Make sure you bring an old set of clubs, since you are more than likely to dig up a rock before hitting your ball.
Maintenance is average at best. Price is good and parking is ample.

This is a nice golf center, complete with miniature golf and batting cages. The miniature golf course is well maintained and in very good condition, although the cost is almost as much as playing 9 holes of actual golf. The driving range has plenty of hitting areas, but again, the price of a bucket of balls if getting to be outrageous. However, this is one of the best driving ranges in the area, and certainly the best mini golf course.
Parking is ample and the location is convenient, right on Wyoming Avenue.

If you want to feel like a big man, come play at this short course. Although there are some challenging sections, the overall length is fairly small. This is a good course for a beginner or novice, while the expert might get bored in a hurry.
The price used to be favorable for the size and quality of the course, but it has gone up in recent years, a little too much I think. The course is not the best maintained in the area and can get very dry and raw in the summer.
Parking is ok, although it can get crowded if the course is especially busy.

The plant selection is large and of high quality. The landscaping items are interesting. I never leave this place without a new idea for the yard. Now if they would do the work for me I would be set.
They do not always carry the largest variety or have the best price, but the quality does tend to be high. Parking is ample and the location is convenient.

Martz is a local fixture. Located in downtown Wilkes-Barre, Martz offers numerous trips to places like New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Atlantic City, for very reasonable prices. They also serve other cities, usually for sporting or special events. They always have an interesting selection of options if you want to get away for a day or weekend and do not want the hassle.
With the price of gas these days, not too mention the difficulties of driving in some of the cities Martz serves, this is not a bad option.
The buses are well kept and comfortable.

I never played golf here but I did attend a wedding. The layout suits itself very well to crowds under 150. The bar area is large and you can also go outside if the weather is nice.
The dining room has a nice large dance floor and the staff is quick and professional. The appears to be very well run. The food, catered by Touch of Class, was top notch and plentiful.
Parking is plentiful even if the location is a little bit of a drive, although a nice drive.

Kranson's has been around a long time and has an excellent reputation. Do not let the older, run down building turn you off.
They have an excellent selection of fine clothing. The sale people are very helpful and if it does not fit, they have very good tailor service. The prices are competitive with anyone in the area.
Parking is ample, and the location is pretty good, being just down from the mall on Mundy Street.

You can always head down to Ritz and deal with the smirking salesmen there who are always trying to push a Canon down your gullet, but I would rather stop here when I have a real photography issue.
Located right on the Memorial Highway, there is always a parking spot available (the place is never crowded).

Located on the Memorial Highway, A&A Auto Parts can be difficult to get into during rush hour, especially if you are coming from the wrong side of the expressway. Other than that parking is adequate.
