Good Wine, food and attentive service

Monday, October 31, 2005
We stopped in for a glass of wine and a cheese plate. The House Cotes du Rhone was very drinkable and went pretty well with the cheeses on the plate, which were varied and quite delicious. Presentation was slightly lacking, some more color on the cheese board would have helped, or a different plate (too much yellow and beige). But, the service was so attentive and people so nice that we decided to go back a few hours later for dessert. Creme brulee and Tarte Tatin (apple tart). Both were yum and they helped us choose nice wines to go with each.
