It may not be the best sushi in Seattle, but it may be the biggest. The owner has huge hands. Don't be surprised if you have to fight through a waiting line out the door - people come here to EAT....

I've seen one person order and consume a dozen unagi. The california rolls are gigundus. The onigiri are a complete meal. This is wonderful neighborhood food - not some fru-fru eatery.

We love going to Maneki, just off Jackson in the I-District. It has a history going back somewhere between 70 and 100 years! Ok, so sometimes you smell cigarette smoke from the bar and sushi...
We love going to Maneki, just off Jackson in the I-District. It has a history going back somewhere between 70 and 100 years! Ok, so sometimes you smell cigarette smoke from the bar and sushi service can be marginal during peak times, but the owner is fantastic - treats our 2 year old like a prince. The selection is unique enough to be notable - they have a number of traditional Japanese dishes that you definately won't see at I Love Sushi.
