This Burger King is located at the corner of Main Street and U.S.19, a very busy intersection.
We go there for a quick breakfast sandwich on the way to the beach. They have 2 for $3.00 at the moment. We also get 59 cent senior coffee.
Then lunchtime we pop in for a Whopper. If you look on the back of the receipt you can get a free Whopper on your next trip if you complete a survey.
So we get a free Whopper and I order one for myself, order fries and a small drink for my husband to get the free one. Then I get a senior coffee. It works out around $6 for all that food and 2 drinks.
The service at this location is fast and they get our orders right! That is amazing for fast food.
I recommend this Burger King if you are in the area.

We were meeting friends for lunch on a Saturday and decided to meet in Tampa.
Romano's Macaroni Grill is situated on the corner of Dale Mabry Highway and Bearss, a very busy intersection.
We parked in the huge parking lot and waited outside to meet our friends. There were two seats outside but nowhere to sit while waiting inside.
When our friends came we were seated immediately. The server was really attentive. I ordered the Shrimp Portofino, which was just amazing. My friend ordered hers without the pine nuts. My husband had an Italian combo and the other lady in our party mussels, followed by a salad.
My husband's food was overcooked and dry but the rest of the food was excellent.
This is a restaurant I would recommend and would certainly go back to.

The first time we checked out the Ron Jon Surf Shop was around 15 years ago. We were visiting a friend in the Cocoa beach area and heading east to Atlantic Avenue.
As a tourist there is so much you can buy. I purchased a really large Ron Jon beach towel and I use it every day when I swim at the pool. It is still in great condition.
Yes, the cost of items are a little high but the quality makes them worthwhile.
We have been back on several occasions. We have also checked out the shop, at Festival Bay, in Orlando.

As a caregiver, I have enrolled one of my clients in water color classes for the summer. She is just 81 years young!
We both go along every Wednesday and I help her get set up. Her teacher, Jo, is wonderful, and allows me to assist my client.
The classes run from 1.00 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. However, there are plenty of other classes too. Monday drawing, Tuesday classical oils, and pottery, Thursday watercolor and open painting. Saturday painting and drawing.
There is also a gift shop where you can purchase crafts. Check out shows too.
So if you want to get out of the summer heat, sign up. They also have lots going on for the kids as well.
Located on Moog Road, behind the library. It is really easy to find.

My husband and I always like to help out the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranch and give donations. We were heading to the British pub and I saw this store, in the plaza, at the corner of Curlew and Alt. 19.
It is huge. Think of anything you might want and it will be there. There were some really nice organs at a tenth of the price you would pay in a music store.
There was lots of really good quality furniture, kitchenware, craft items, clothes, and the list goes on.
The prices were right and this is such a wonderful charity. If you live in the Dunedin area, please check it out. I know I will be telling all my friends about it.

We had been to the beach for an hour and decided that we needed to eat. We went to the Cricketers British Pub & Restaurant on Bayshore Blvd. Actually it is in the plaza on the corner of Curlew and Alt. 19.
We went in and seated ourselves. British Bob, as he is known, came over and asked Len if he wanted a beer. Len had a diet soda and I had water. He went to get us menus but we said that we had come in for the Steak & Kidney Pie @ $11.50. Len wanted French fries, which he got into trouble for saying, as they are chips in England, and mushy peas. I chose mixed vegetables and real mashed potatoes.
After around 20 minutes our meals came out. They looked and tasted excellent. The pastry was brown and flaky as it should be.
We ate about half of our meals and were beaten. We had to have a doggy bag.
While in the pub I checked out the "loos", not restrooms, and they were clean. On the walls were pictures of England, maps, soccer scarves, and lots of fun things. There must have been 15 to 20 television sets, a pool table, and dart boards.
This is a huge plaza so there is plenty of parking. We checked out the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranch thrift store while we were there. It was just a couple of shops from the pub.
Need even more information? The website is www.cricketerspub.com.
This is the second time I have written this review. The last one just disappeared on me.

Although we live in Pasco county, we drove south to Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home yesterday. Our neighbor had passed away and the Memorial Service was to be held there.
The Funeral Home was very easy to find on Sunset Point Road. We were early and coffee was provided.
The service and the setting was as it should be.
Afterwards we all drove across the street, to Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, where our friend was to be buried.
The grounds were beautiful and the place was very serene. There was a tent and chairs available for the burial service. We had so many mourners that the younger ones (including me) had to stand in the mid-day sun.
Everything was perfect and the Funeral Home went out of their way to ensure that. They even had bottled water for us for the long journey home.
I would highly recommend this business.

My husband Len is a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and we just love it.
It is located just west of U.S.19, on the corner of Gulf and Leisure Lane. There is plenty of parking to the front, side, and rear of the building.
You have to be a member of the fraternity or go with a spouse that is a member. You are allowed to take guests up to 3 times, then they must join.
There are dinner/dances on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. We try to go twice a week. The food can be hit or miss so we tend to just go for the dancing. It costs $2 a person.
There is a large bar, plenty of televisions, pool tables, and dart boards. A nice stage and a very large dancing area. There is another big room to the side that is used in the winter months, when our 'snow birds' return.
Florida is a non-smoking state, but as this is a club, you will find people smoking.
Everyone is made to feel very welcome so I would suggest looking for an Eagles near you.

When we are over in the Kissimmee/Orlando area and just want a day away from Disney and SeaWorld, we head for Water Mania. It is located near the intersection of International Drive South, and 192.
We park in the Shoney's parking lot just across the street. If not you will be charged for parking on site.
The last time we went we were given free tickets from our timeshare. Even with free tickets you will need to take money for lockers, snacks, and drinks, if you don't take your own.
I love the pool with the waves. I could spend all day in it. Len and I also really enjoy the lazy river. Just moving in/on our tire and not having to do any work.
The kids love the water slides and dozens of other water activities.
I go with my 45 factor sunscreen, a hat, and plenty of time to enjoy myself. This is a great day out which will be enjoyed by all the family.

Len and I were craving a curry and I didn't have the time to make it at home. We headed out to Thai Bistro, which is less than a mile from our home.
Friends had eaten there and said how good it was.
The restaurant is in a strip mall on the south side of Main Street, fairly close to U.S.19. There is limited parking in front of the building.
Upon entering we were greeted immediately and we asked for a booth. Booths were at the sides and tables in the middle.
We both wanted a glass of iced water as we were expecting hot curry. Our server came back and helped us decide on our meals. Len asked for a hot curry so he got the Thai Red Curry with chicken and rice. I asked for medium and received the Thai Green Curry with shrimp and rice.
Our meals came out very quickly. We both got a dish of curry. Then the server spooned a little rice on our plates and took it away.
Len didn't like his meal at all and only ate the chicken. He said he couldn't taste the curry sauce. I had 7 large fan tailed shrimp and mine was good. I ate half of it over the rice. When our server came back I asked for mine to be boxed and could they put some rice in for me to take home.
We have the entertainment book card so Len's meal was free. With the tip it came to $14. I would have been upset if it had cost double that.
The decor and service were excellent. Just not the food we were expecting.
