Check out your local Sunday paper for special deals. We got a three course meal for $12.99.
A choice of 3 appetizers, 3 entrées, and 3 desserts. I had the shrimp, then the grilled shrimp pasta, followed by bananas foster.
The place was bright and cheerful and we had a fun server. Our meals came with corn muffins too.
Everything about our evening was great and the Manager even stopped by and chatted too.
We will certainly be going back.

We went to Tyrone Square Mall 4 times in the week we were at Treasure Island.
I went into the Brookstone store because I love their new inventions. They have a new exercise machine which is just like horse riding. I got on it and started on level one which was fine. By the time I got to level four I was struggling to keep on.
I also had a body massage in their $4,000 chair. It was really great and everyone passing by commented on how relaxed I looked.
I looked at all the gadgets and am still trying to decide which ones I would like for Christmas.

When we visited Treasure Island a couple of weeks ago we went to Tyrone Square Mall several times.
They have all the departmental stores, restaurants, a food court, and exciting shops. The Mall has little side streets off the main drag and that makes it great for walkers.
We live close to another Simon Mall, Gulf View Square Mall, and our one is little and gets boring.
We checked out lots of shops, ate in the food court and really enjoyed our shopping experience.
The Mall is located on Tyrone Blvd and 22nd Avenue North. It is huge with plenty of parking.

Gators Cafe & Saloon boasts to be the World's Longest Waterfront Bar.
All I know is that it is on the Treasure Island side of John's Pass. There is inside and outside seating on both levels.
They have entertainment every night.
The food is great from sandwiches, to you peel and eat shrimp, to seafood entrées and so much more.
They have drink specials and do a great Margaritaville Margarita for $3.
We love sitting outside and watching the birds, fish, boats, etc. We can also look across the water at the boardwalk at a John's Pass.
All in all an enjoyable evening.

We check out this store whenever we are in the area. They have a great selection of wine but that is not the reason I go in there.
They have the most amazing chocolates. Each individual chocolate can run you anything from $2 to $5. I haven't purchased them but I just love to look. I figure looking won't put the pounds on.
They state that they have the largest selection of Florida wines and I must say that it look extensive.
They also have a walk-in humidor with a large selection of cigars.
If none of the above grab you they also have lots of touristy gifts.
Located in John's Pass Village between Madeira Beach and Treasure Island.

This restaurant is actually on the boardwalk of John's Pass. Right now they are pulling up the planks of wood and replacing them with new. This is right were this restaurant is so we gave it a miss this year.
We have really enjoyed going to eat there over the past 19 years. Yes, it has been around a long time, 28 years to be exact.
So if you want a drink and a sandwich, or a dining experience overlooking the water, then this could be the place for you.

St. Petersburg Pier is a must if you are in the area. If you go early enough you may be able to park in the free spaces. If later then you will have to pay to park.
There are free shuttles from the parking areas to the pier. We prefer to walk.
The Pier is a unique design and is like an upside down triangle. On the ground floor are shops and the food court. On the second floor is the aquarium. On the top, fifth floor, are restaurants and outside eating.
You can walk around the ground floor and the fifth floor. On a clear day you can see Tampa. There is a small beach by the pier and a private air strip on the other side.

Whenever I go to Tarpon Springs I park in the street just behind the Sponge Exchange.
I always walk through and if I am with visitors we take a look in the shops. There is a beautiful linen shop but the prices are very high.
Len sometimes has a sugar free ice cream in the, you guessed it, ice cream shop.
There was other shops that sell clothes, jewelery, candles, and of course a restaurant. In the season there are also food and drink stands.
This is a tourist attraction but great to visit with out of town visitors.

Each time we go to Treasure Island we have to eat at Daiquiri Deck. We have been going there for years.
We have a BIGOF from the Entertainment book for up to $8. I always have the Diablo French Dipper @ $7.75. Len had the Philly cheesesteak @ $7.75. Our server asked if he wanted mushrooms. They were not included so an additional 75 cents was added to the bill.
All the food is great.
They have live entertainment in the evenings.
This is located just across the street from the beach. It is right on the corner of Gulf Blvd and the Tom Stewart causeway (666). Parking can be difficult at times.

We eat at our local one in Port Richey often, but every year when we are in our timeshare at Treasure Island, we eat in this one.
Fantastic service, the best food around, and the prices are right. Each week there are specials in the newspaper and where else can you get prime rib starting at just $10.99.
On your birthday there is a free bottle of wine, so don't forget to join their birthday club.
Plenty of parking in front and to the rear of the restaurant.
