If you're on a budget, this is probably the place for you. It offers very fast service here, so don't expect your barber to care too much with the results. I know some people who go here and are happy with the results. I, however, will stick to my Aveda Institute.
Has beautiful hair ever been quick and efficient?

For the price, it's an amazing deal. Don't hesitate because you're giving your head to students, students or not, they're definitely better than your local neighborhood salon. The whole process takes about an hour, but 13-15$ for shampoo/condition, haircut, plus style is totally worth the hour.
Give it a try!
Great to learn new techniques on how to style your hair!

I haven't ate much of the bakery that they put out on the display, but most of it weren't as tasty as it had looked.
However, they do have a treasure in there, and that's their chinese birthday cakes.
I've tried many of those cakes, and this place makes the best.
The cake itself is buttery soft. The whip cream is perfect, not too sweet, and not too bland. The fruits are fresh.
You just have to give it a try. Everytime I order, it takes roughly 40-60 minutes for a fresh cake.

You can come in and try pho (vietnamese noodles) as noted by the restaurant name, or anything else on the menu and you would end up satisfied with your meal.
Cheap eats!

They have one of my favorite appetizers, the Shrimp in a Basket!

There's not much services really because you order your order upfront, but the workers there are really kind though.
The food is really cheap for the amount of portion you get. I also am in love with their flatbread which is like only 65 cents a piece.
The food is simple, which makes it good. It doesn't try to be complicated with its taste.

I love the idea of this restaurant. It's fun and creative.
The service was also wonderful everytime I went there.
Even if you don't know what to dump in your prep bowl, it won't be an issue....

Even if you don't know what to dump in your prep bowl, it won't be an issue. They have cards where they suggest what you should gather together so it would turn out to taste good.
Tip: Go there on Wednesday! A total slash on the prices!

Joy Yee's Noodles, which first store actually originated in Chicago's Chinatown, had been growing extremely popular. I am reviewing about their Evanston location.
The environment sucks. One of their big money-making item is their smoothies which causes loud noises. Also, I dislike the seating arrangements in there. I prefer space from other parties while eating, and there's not much room that allows this.
I do, however, like the contemporary design of what they use to bring the food out. CUTE!
The food is decent. It's not bad, but there are a couple of dishes that stands out. The best that I've tried there are their korean bbq ribs and their thai pad wai soon noodles. The rest are just "average".
One thing that you must order when you go there are their beverages, with or without tapiocas. It's just one of the things you must do before going to the death bed.

If you know what's good chinese, or even good americanized chinese food is, then you would know this place doesn't offer that. I mean, what do you expect from a buffet? Besides having chinese food there, they also have other popular "American" dishes like pizza, nuggets, and fries. Their dessert seem similar to Old Country Buffet, offering dried fruits and melted ice-cream.
Everyone have different taste and I do know of some people (who doesn't eat asian food much) who actually likes this place.
Don't waste your money here. PERiOD.
