I love Go Sushi because their fast and cheap and pretty cool. Nine out of ten times I'm totally satisfied with their food (but since it's not top quality sushi or prices, you have to expect that it's not always going to be perfect). The box combinations are nice and fun - and ala carte sushi is good too. My favorite thing is the mixed mesculin greens with tuna sashimi and avocado in a miso ginger dressing with sesame seeds. Mmm! It's DElicious!

Josephina is an Italian restaurant that's been around for a billion years and has been catering to the Lincoln Center audiences. It's a nice place and really not that expensive, considering the neighborhood where it's located. The waitors are a little pretentious but the service is good and the food is good too. The decor is old - and has an old fashioned feel to it - but it's a pleasant place to be and it is open pretty late. It's always a nice experience to dine there!

El Paso is hidden away in a dark street, 97th, behind the train tracks where they come up above Park Avenue - you would never find it unless you had inside information. It's a really cute little place where the food is good and not expensive. There is room for about 50 people to sit - a little bit cramped in this darkish and simply decorated little Taqueria. The food is good - but you need to know what you want, because the waitstaff do not speak very much English, so they can't help very much with questions.

Josepina is a nice restaurant serving great Italian food in the middle of Riverdale. It's a cosy atmosphere with friendly waitstaff who will chat with you and also help you find whatever you want on the menu. The prices are very reasonable and the dining experience is always pleasant. The decor is simple - dim lighting and dark wood makes the atmosphere mellow and relaxing for a good and hearty Italian feast.

It you want to eat mediocre sushi while seating on brightly colored uncomfortable plastic chairs being served by rude waitstaff - then you've come to the right place! Sushi A Go Go is a hip-looking place to eat sushi in a high priced district where nearby people spend lots of money to go to the opera and ballet - so probably don't mind spending an equal amount of money on poor quality raw fish. It's not my favorite choice in the city for sushi.

The Pita Grill is a good reliable place for all the Middle Eastern Food ordering in needs. They deliver and they have a good selections of anything you'd want in the way of falafel, shawarma, kebabs, salads, et cetera. I don't love their food - but it is acceptable and I've never been disappointed. I prefer Chickpea or AliBab - but if you're in this neighborhood - you could order and order again and not be disappoiinted!

We're been to this place a few times and it's always excellent! The staff is very nice and will help you find whatever you want to eat - but more importantly, the chef will make sure it is delicious! I've never had anything I didn't like at Rungsit - and it's always a totally pleasant experience to be there! The decor is simple - lots of dark wood, and the lighting is low. In the summer the front is open making it a nice airy atmosphere.

Trattoria Alba is a really warm and homey place to eat. The clientele are people who've been dining there for years and the maitre d' knows everyone by name. The food is good and not very expensive and it's always warm and cosy inside. The lights are dim and it's a nice place to go with someone special for a nice casual outing. The specials are really good and the waitors are very helpful. It's always a pleasant experience!

Falafel Express is a quick place to get a bite to eat during the business hours when they are most busy. The people are friendly and helpful and are quick to serve. The food is pretty good - not excellent, but dependable and okay - so people keep going back. There is seating inside for about 20 people, but it gets busy around lunch time so most people end up taking out. Their falafel is good - and they also have specials that are good, including something with eggplant and chickpeas.

Gan Asia is a chinese/thai take out place that is kosher and is actually pretty good. They have a huge menu and the prices are reasonable. I think they also have sushi. The place does not have any seating - it's only for takeout and delivery. Like many kosher restaurants in the city, they deliver all over - except there may be a delivery fee depending on your location. I enjoy their food - particularly the "oriental mini dogs" which are really just hot dogs in puff pastry. Mmmm....hot dogs in puff pastry!
