Dink's has been a family favorite for many years and one of the few places I insist on eating when I am in town. The food is consistently good and the onion strings are a must before your meal. But for the last 2 years the service has steadily gone downhill, to the point where I almost refuse to eat there, despite their good food.

This consignment store is located on Lewis along with 2 other nice stores, which makes it easy to make the rounds of the consignment stores. Deja Vu has a good selection of nice clothes for a fair price and they have a nice selection of business suits and dresses, and even sell furs.

Echo shops is located on Lewis along with some other great consignment shops, making it easy to make the rounds and practically guaranteeing that you'll find something you love. Echo is well layed out and always has a wide variety of very nice clothes. They even carry a small selection of children's clothes, which is nice for a mom who likes to shop for her kids as much as herself. The only problem I run into is that some of the clothes are priced quite high, but not being an upscale clothing kind of person I have no idea what these clothes cost new.

What a great place to eat, although you would never suspect that just by driving by. The Knotty Pine is a little restaurant in the middle of an industrial area, not the usual place to look for food. But the place is always packed, so much so that we have had to leave for lack of a parking place. On that note, something does need to be done about parking, people park across the street in the gas station and even along the road to get in there. But it is definitely good food and a relaxed, casual environment.

First off, I have to mention that Rib Crib has moved to a new location beside Wal-mart, although it is still listed on here as being on Charles Page. Now, with that being said, the new location is great, bigger restaurant, airier, much cleaner. Me and a friend ate their one saturday afternoon and the food was cooked perfectly and the waitstaff was very attentive and friendly. This is the perfect place for a no-brainer meal.

but we visited the Olive Garden for my father's birthday and it was a less than memorable experience. The waitstaff was useless, the breadsticks, hard, the a/c was on high, and the food was bland. Regardless of this, the place was still packed and required a 30 minute wait just to get in. I have eaten in other Olive Gardens and always been impressed, let's just hope they were having a bad night.

Kathleen's is famous for their bows (they have great sales on them) but they have adorable clothes as well. Although the are pricey, it's a great place for a special occasion outfit or just a splurge. The new store is much larger and features a runway for little diva's to parade down while modeling their new clothes.
