The selection of wine and hard liquor is unbeatable. You will find everything you need for either a party or a dinner engagement. The prices are excellent and they always run sales around the holidays!

My family and I have been going to Burgers Lake for the past 15 years and we always have a great time! It is truly an old fashion swimming hole and a great place to spend a hot summer day. It costs next to nothing compared to the large themed water parks. Instead of thrills come for some real family fun that includes a large relaxing spring fed lake, sandy beaches, inner tube rentals to lounge in, diving boards and rope swings!!

Everyone I have taken is amazed and thrilled to have the experience.The stockyards have stayed pretty true to the era when they were built and provide you with a step back in time. Not only are there little shops and places to eat, but what with the "cattle drive" you get a history lesson to boot!
There is always a special event, rodeo, or celebration going on so call ahead and plan to visit during one of those times for an extra dose of fun.

I really love to shop for my gardern needs at Calloways. The staff is extremely knowlegeable and the plants are always fresh. The location at lincoln square is larger and usually has a better selection of potted trees.
The Christmas Trees in December are the best around! They are a bit pricey (double to triple) compared to Home Depot but they are a higher quality and just seem fresher.

I have visited Winstar a few times and each time have had fun. It is only an hour and a half drive north of DFW. It makes for a great afternoon of evening visit.

One thing to know is the machine do not give out any money. You must sign up for a player's card (which is free) and put the card into the slot machine you would like to play. You are then able to load your money into the machine, any winnings will be loaded on your players card, so do not forget your card in the machine. You must use the card at the cashiers station to get your money.
There are also Beverage stations located throughout the building where you can help yourself to an ice cold soda or hot cup of coffee for free!
With a variety of slots and table games this is a nice alternative to Vegas and a heck of a lot closer to home.

My friends and relatives LOVE this store! Whenever they are in town they beg me to bring them by. You can literally find any type of "souvenier" texas style that you want. And it is good quality merchandise not the dimestore junk you find in florida. Most of the merchandise has texas written on it or is shaped like texas...all are reasonably prices. You will pay a bit more for say a jar of jalopeno jelly with a Texas Label on it than a regular jar at the grocery store...but whats a few dollars for a memory that lasts a lifetime?

This is a lovely store with a Boutique like Atmosphere. The clothing and accesories are all very nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pricing is very expensive for what they are offering and you would be better off at Off 5th or Neimans Last Call. I don't think they ever have sales or bargains either, so if you are on a budget this shop is not for you.
If you have money, like nice things then shop here!

The DFW International Airport is HUGE. There are different Terminals housing different airlines on each side of the main road. Each termianl is easy to find as the airport has provided some well...
The DFW International Airport is HUGE. There are different Terminals housing different airlines on each side of the main road. Each termianl is easy to find as the airport has provided some well placed and easy to read traffic signs.
I would like to say the New International Terminal is just beautiful. It is state of the art and full of millions of dollars of art work. The airport added a fantastic new "people mover" system to help passengers get from the domestic terminals to the international gates in a faster more efficient manner. Since the people mover is a secured area, you no longer have to leave through security and re-enter through a security checkpoint when moving between the terminals as you did before.
There is a hotel located within the airport facility, so if you get delayed or stranded you dont have to travel far for a good nights sleep! There are also hundreds of gift shops and resteraunts that will occupy your time if you have a long delay or connection.

The best part about this bouquet is it is made of Cookies! The person you send it to can actually eat their gift...and it is yummy too!

I prefer a live antique market, with the dealers set up. It gives you an oppurtunity to bargain with the price. It is still a very nice place to spend the day.
