Oaks Christian Church is a medium sized church located in the Garden Oaks part of Houston. The church is Disciples of Christ (First Christian) denomination. Everyone there is very friendly and welcoming to guests and newcomers. There are various classes and activities for all age groups, from children to elders. While the church is for the most part progressive in its thinking, the services are traditional Christian services. (ie no loud music).
