This is a nice venue with good sound system and a great design. From the main floor you have a good view of the band from pretty much any location. There is a wide variety of artists that play here and when I went the bands were really good and got the crowd all worked up. Downstairs you can get food and well-priced, strong drinks. The main room is crowded and you have to stand but if you move around you can find couches and chairs. The club has valet parking but it takes a really long time to get in and out, so if you can nab street parking, do it. You can call for speacial events or check online, but they have certain events throughout the week, like Tuesdays nights, all ages and free.

The Ha Ha Cafe is a small club in North Hollywood. It's a really small venue but it has a cozy feeling, not a cramped, stuffy atmosphere. The comedians are amateurs but still really funny. Sometimes they get R-rated, but this isn't the place for little kids, so it's okay. The club is open fairly late, until one and decorated with a Rock N' Roll theme. If you call ahead you can save a few dollars, it costs fifteen at the door but twelve if you call ahead. Parking is impossible to find on the street but the club has valet parking that isn't too expensive.

This place is one of the most famous, greatest places to see a band! Historically, many great bands have rocked the stage. There is a full bar, but the venue is all ages, so there is a diverse crowd, which sometimes can be annoying. Usually fun. It's a small place which sometimes feels cozy and sometimes feels suffocating. But if the band is good it doesn't matter. They card you when you go outside to smoke, so be prepared if you look young. Sometimes you see famous people watching the concert from the VIP room. Everyone says the acoustics are amazing, I thought it sounded really good, but I don't know anything about acoustics. Be sure you don't stage dive or you'll be out of there fast.

Be sure to try things on, because a lot of things have been altered to fit, so you might think it's your size but it won't fit. You can find inexpensive clothes used in commercials or buy famous costume pieces (at a more expensive price). Everyone told me I had to go here and it was really fun just looking around at all the different things. The staff is fun and you can usually leave with something great, or at the very least interesting.

This is a good place to see new artist and famous bands. It's a small venue so you have to get there early if you want a seat at the bar. It takes a while to get a drink, standing or sitting. It's a cozy place so you're bound to mingle, if you want to or not. The bands are always good and you can smoke! There is a surprisingly diverse choice of music playing every night of the week so you'll never know what you're going to hear but it's always fun. Street parking is impossible but there are parking lots near by that charge ten dollars. The place looks care worn but that just adds to the feeling that thousands of people have stood where you have enjoying great music. It's all about the atmosphere and this place has a great vibe.

The atmoshpere here is fun and energetic. This huge building is home to great music and big crowds. The first floor is for dancing and the second floor has a better view but it's where the music system is so you'll hearing the music as you sit there then hear nothing else for a few days. There are two bars and the bar on the second story has faster service. Everything is served in plastic cups and it's not the best place for fancy drinks. But the history of the club is legendary. Jim Morrison wrote lyrics in the bathroom and every other band in the world has played here. Parking is hard to find on the street but you can pay a small price to pay in the club's parking lot. It's a great place to rock and dance late into the night.

There are several different dance floors at this hot club and all of them blast fantastic music! This club opens around nine but the party doesn't get started until after eleven. The dress code is casual but who doesn't dress up to go to a nightclub? The club is known for being gay but it's still a really great place to dance and meet people. It's always crowded and if you don't like your surroundings then you can just move into a different room. The club is a little pricey, but you can get VIP passes if you call ahead and attend certain events. There is different music every night but the best night to go is Saturday. You can have you car valet parked or park down the street for free.

It has a couple of rooms with different music playing and lights flashing everywhere. And the main dance floor is huge! The bar serves good but expensive drinks. It's not the best place to mingle but good for finding people to dance with. This club is known for having great DJs and they rarely disappoint. Be sure to buy tickets in advance if you can so you can avoid waiting in long, long lines. Located in a crowded area but there is a parking lot in the back.

If you walk along the beach and the pier you get a beautiful view of the ocean, which is amazing at sunset. The hotels along the beach are old and have a classic beach feel to them. On the pier you can buy food and ride small carnival rides or play minature golf. But the food is extremely overpriced and the rides are no better than a carnival. It's a beautiful place to visit if you have the money. Past the pier there are homeless people on every corner asking for money, some hold signs that ask for smiles, but most ask for money and you have to pass block, after block. I had a nice time at the pier but it's not a place I would visit again. Very crowded. But it's one of the placest you should visit when you come to L.A. and it's at least worth a look.

The Noho Arts District is a beautiful little area filled with apartments, shops, galleries, restaurants and theatres. Just walking down one street you'll pass little theaters were you can see plays, a billards hall, countless thrift stores and many different restaurants ranging from a pizza factory to sushi. The area around Noho District isn't the best, the roads are shot and drive a few more blocks and you're in the ghetto. But it's still a great place to find art, clothes and fine food. Right down the street is the metrolink stop, which makes it convenient to find and visit. It's a really nice place to spend the afternoon shopping and watching plays.
