Johnny's charhouse has quite possibly the best food in the DeKalb area. The steak is absolutely fantastic, and the soup can't be beaten. Each meal comes with fresh baked bread. Entrees all come with soup or salad (try the low fat creamy Italian dressing. It's the BEST!), veggie of the day, and choice of potato. Their garlic mashed potatoes are incredibly good! They have a pretty limited dessert menu, but the things they do have are good quality. The cheesecake is the best of the desserts. The prices have gone up fairly recently and are now pretty high for the area. It's not the kind of place most people could afford every day, but for a special occasion Johnny's Charhouse is definitely the best choice in town!
