Ambrosia started out as a catering company and has now opened a downtown cafe offering b'fast and lunch, as well as a monthly evening event. The b'fast menu is good, but lunch is even better! Salad options are plentiful, as well as "fashionable" sandwiches (eg: rustic grilled cheese, paninis). Caesar salad is my favorite. It comes with bread and is available in half or full-size. Most of the options are in the display case which helps when deciding what to choose from their excellent menu. And... just try to leave without a dessert! They've got everything from cookies to tiramiso. Coffee seletions are also plentiful. The outdoor dining area is one of the best in downtown -- plentiful space shaded by large trees on a pedestrian mall corner. Great for people watching!
