The Avon Park Library offers a free year-round film series. The films are shown every Saturday (except holidays) and begin at noon. A different theme is chosen each month. A wide variety of films are shown - vintage and classic, American and foreign, some are in black and white, others are full color, a few have subtitles. Some movies are chosen because they focus on a featured director, producer or actor. If you're interested in seeing a free movie, call the library at 452-3803 for the latest information.
Although movies are shown all year as part of this program, they are very popular with the snowbirds who visit during the winter months.
