This place has the biggest selection of shoes in Alb. They have 2 locations, one on the east side and one on the west side. Keep in mind though that it is a lot like a DSW shoe whare house. So you have to flip through and shuffle through boxes. Sometimes you will find an amazing sale,and other times you will find shoes that the mall has as well for the same price. Save time and money and go straight back to the clearance section. Another plus, everything is divided up by COLOR!!!! not style. If you give them your email address they will send you coupons. This place just has so many kinds of shoes. I have seen hard to find styles as well. Check it out!

Chic's Harley Davidson is where you will find the local bikers. I have been here a few times and every time I go there I always see new stuff. Aside from the motorcycles for sale, they have a HUGE clothing section. They even have shoes for girls (like cowboy boots and biker chic shoes). Keep an eye our for the clearance racks as old season stuff always goes 25-50% off. The employees are not the nicest and its hard to try stuff on. The service counter is where things get crapy. For some reason the guys there think they are to cool for everybody else, but unfortunaltey it's one of the only places in Alb. to get your Harley stuff. They do have weekly events and you can get on the email list and every Monday they will send you an email of every bike thing going on in the southwest! Also they do offer a riders-edge class for you first timers looking to learn the right way!

We took our Pointer puppy to have her nose checked out (she was getting discoloration). Anyway, the vet we saw (there is only one lady there) was clueless. First we waited for aver an hour passed our appointment time. Second, she was rude and snappy. She completely ignored the problem we were there for and concerned with and proceeded to tell me that my dog was "too thin". She wasn't even familiar with my dogs breed!!! If she knew about pointers she would know that they are very toned and defined. She really made us mad. and I wanted to cry. She treated my boyfriend and myself as if we were stupid and didn't know anything about dogs. Needless to say we never went back there, and every chance I get to tell other people not to I take it.

Oh, the also serve the typical bar food (fries, chicken fingers, quesadillas). o If you get a, ask for more tequila, less sour mix!!!!

Ok, if you are a hippie, an artist, a student, or a local coffee shop junkie you will love this place. I did at first too. Until I walked in and it smelled dirty, like unshowered people. It was gross. Aside from that, it's alright. It's a total local hang out and ya gotta deal with all the regulars hanging around. Prices have gone up. The have food and very good breakfast burritos. They have this awesome green chili sauce that you can't really get anywhere else, a secret recipe. They do their own roasting there so coffee is fresh and yummy. The support local artist and so there is always art up on the wall that they change every week. And I guess what makes them really popular is their location, right across the street from UNM...hmmm

I feel bad for the people who have to deal with UNMH (including myself). From personal experience, I feel that the doctors there are not the best. You will be dealing with all interns and answers...

You will be dealing with all interns and answers to your questions will be hazy and unclear. Very nice x-ray techs at the hospital. The ER is a mess. You will usually have a 4 hour wait . Of course I am talking about free health care here, so I do need to be thankful for that. They are doing some remodeling and building around there right now, so maybe things will be getting better for UNMH. Overall, it is tolerable, a little dirty too. However, supposedly they have a good trauma center, maybe only one in state of NM?

They also give you chips and salsa for free, but they are not your ordianry chips and salsa, we're talkimg New Mexican style. The salsa is fantastic, I can make a meal out of it alone. One not so cool thing is that they charge so much for sides (like sour cream is a $1) But if you like green chili sauce, then you will love this place, they can smother there burritos in it. They do have a high emploee turnover rate, so you are seeing new faces, compared to the favorite locakl waitress, but the prices are so good and they give you soo much food. they have a large menu, and they have a few american food items on there as well. Like chili cheese hashbrowns? Go to Seferino's!!!

I love this place, who wouldn't? The Buffalo Exchange is a large thrift/used clothing store. What is really cool about this place is that you can bring in clothes that you don't want anymore, and they may buy them and give you credit towards anything in the store. I have walked in with a bag of clothes I didn't wear and left with over $100 in store credit. Another cool thing is that I have been able to find expensive name brand things (Banana Republic, Seven, Miss Sixty, Calvin Klein, etc...) at a fraction of the price. Most items are in great condition, but you need to examine carefully before you buy. The exchange policy stinks (no cash refunds). They also have bags, hats belts, jewelry and shoes. Even a few funky house decor items. Watch out for stuck-up trendy employees, and yes they decide what clothes get bought back. Definitely worth going and checking out.

YUK! This place is terrible. First of all, they have one of those "unsatisfactory" reviews from the board of health. The sticker is right on the window. Second, if you try to order food to go, they will not start making it until you show up and pay, then you have to wait another 20 minutes for your food, on a half hour lunch break. The workers are rude and talk in Chinese while you are standing right there. The decor is gross and very cheap. The rice is dry and the frozen peas taste nasty. I will say this, you do get a lot of food in your order, enough for two meals. However if you try to re-heat your leftovers, you will be highly disappointed. Save your time, just DON'T GO!!!

The prices are a bit steep (lik7-8 for a luch meal) but the foold is soooo good and worth it. They also have a popular lunch buffet, I think the hours for that are 12pm-2pm , but I am not positive. I go there often because I love the Tofu, and in Albuquerque it is hard to find good tofu. They also have some seriously hot thai chili which will set your mouth on fire. If you like hot , but not oo hot, go with the mild. If you like it hotter than usual, go with the medium, but if you want to burn your mouth, stomach, and everything in between, then go for the hot! But dont say I didn't warn you!!!
