Sporty's Eatery has been a staple in my diet ever since I discovered it in 2000. While their menu is slightly small, they do have more than you'd think. From Gyros to Hot Dogs to Burgers to salads, it's a standard menu, but with much better service. The owner, Val, is one of the nicest people I have ever met, knowing most of his customers by name and chitchatting as much as he can with them to make them feel comfortable. If you ever have a chance to go there, try the Mushu Salad, it's the best!

Out of all the Cinemark Theaters I've ever been to, this is the cleanest and most enjoyable by far. Cinemark at Seven Bridges has a surprisingly happy group of staff members working there, and they take their movies very seriously. They have a lot of children's movies on weekends, and they deck out the windows and walls in the theme of the week. I went there for the Star Wars Episode 3 Premiere, and it was extremely well handled.
There are movie premieres on the IMAX screen, making the movies more amazing than they already are. Great place to go!

I love Hollywood Boulevard. Located in a cozy corner of a small strip mall, Hollywood Boulevard provides a small chunk of Hollywood in Chicago Suburbia. The standard audience is made up of adults, since the admittance age is 18 years old for most movies, and it's a great time for all. The lobby is decked out in all kinds of Hollywood memorabilia, with printed hand prints form the Chinese Theater, to retro movie posters adorning the ceilings.
Each screen has a different theme, my favorite being the Oscar Room and the Chinese Theater. The food is acceptable, nothing out of the ordinary, but the is extremely helpful. For those who enjoy the occasional drink, watch out! The alcoholic beverages tend to run high.
If you're looking for an unique date, take them here, it's definitely a treat!

The Great Escape on Irving Park Road is a great place to sneak away for either a business lunch or a lunch date with friends. They have an affordable menu with many different choices, and a very nice mannered staff. During the different Holiday seasons, they have special themed brunches, and sometimes a Mystery Dinner; catch those if you're lucky, they're great fun!
