Or, if you're starving, you can get an incredibly huge (and tasty) breakfast. It's the perfect place to meet people when you don't want to be drinking alcohol.
I've never had a bad breakfast there and I love the artsy-fartsy atmosphere--- a little like Berkeley California. Except the prices are much better.

And the prices-- sheesh.
I think this is mostly the Emporer's new clothes. Because it's impossible to get a reservation on weekends, everyone thinks it's the place to be (it's not-- Pazo is) .
That being said, the food is good. And if you go on a non-weekend night, and don't order more than one glass of wine, it's worth going to.

The good news-- the drinks are still great and it's a nice place to have a watermelon martini with a good friend or a place to stop by after/before dinner.
The place is beautifully designed and now there's even more space for the bar on the weekend (they move the dinner tables-- which is fine because dinner ain't worth it)

Corks is the nicest restaurant in Federal Hill. I live in the neighborhood and I love bringing my parents here--- if they're paying. It's pretty pricey-- not sure if it's worth it. The wines are especially expensive--- it's hard to find a bottle under $50.
That being said, the food is great, the service is wonderful, and if you don't want to be driving in Federal Hill but need an impressive place to take someone, I would definitely recommend Corks over Bicycle.
The 3 times I've been, I found the appetizers and desserts to be the best part. Next time, I'm totally skipping the entre.

I was wrong.
This place not only has 5 star food, it has 5 star atmosphere but at 3 star prices.
And the lounge/bar is actually a comfortable place where you can talk, get some great tapas, and not feel like a sardine. While it's really romantic, it's also a perfect place to go on a girls night out.
Best of all, no smoking--- just like california!
It's much better than Corks-- my former favorite restaurant in Baltimore.
