This store is a candy lover's dream! I was able to find things that I remember from my trip to Europe (that I have been missing ever since) to the typical selection of candy store fare. The staff is very friendly, the stock never looks depleted, and the smell wafting up to Newbury St is unbelievable. The truth is in the name- this truly is Sugar Heaven!

Working in downtown, I am often the one who runs out in the middle of lunch to buy a co-workers forgotten birthday card. Copley flair has a whole section of office appropriate cards, so this is perfect.
However other cards tend to be on the raunchy side. If you select any "staff picks" they are always gross. I don't know if I'd let that staff pick anything if I were the manager :)

To see: the whimsical tribute to Make Way for Ducklings, the smallest suspension bridge, well-manicured lawns and gardens and the famous swan boats.
Absolutely fabulous!

As far as starbucks go, this one is pretty standard. The barista's wouldn't know a decent latte from a poor one and at $4+ a pop, this is a shame.

The hot chocolate however is TO DIE FOR. I love it with mint syrup--- it is unbelievable!

Most of the stores on this section of Salem St are either closed or being refurbished. It's a shame that this store goes unnoticed as it is off the beaten path of Hanover and Richmond Streets.
The merchandise here reminds me of things you would find in a smaller version of Anthropologie. The staff is very friendly. The clothes are wonderful and the giftware is of very high quality. Not horribly pricey... very cute interior too!

Though some would argue that Anthropologie is too pricey for them, the upstairs sale section in the Boylston St store simply can't be beat in the quality for $ category.

Anthropologie is a great store to find well-made clothing that is not too over the top. They carry brands like Michael Stars tees and Odille clothes that are top of the line.
My only complaint is the cramped corner where they stick the sale home stuff. You can't fit in there if another person is browsing!

Non-pretentious aptmosphere--- no typical downtown snobbiness here! Decor is nautical themed--- kinda cheesy but adorable at the same time.
Servers and bartenders are friendly and efficient. The no-frills aptmosphere is a great place to meet friends out for a casual Friday night.

Bangles, necklaces, earrings and other accessories. This store has so much that it makes me dizzy!
The best part is most things are under $20! You don't have to go for broke to ice yourself out!

If you're looking for your newest hook-up/ throwaway relationship, head on over to the Vox and you won't be disappointed. Everyone there is looking to pick someone up or be picked up themselves.
The crowd is mostly mid-twenties--- some are quite snobby and "holier than thou" while others are just content to show off their latest "it" bag or "lacoste" polo. It's quite a funny scene.
Bartenders are friendly and generous with the pouring of spirits in mixed drinks. Decor is typical of an upscale bar- nice and neutral for the most part.
Beware the stairs if you're wearing a skirt though! I noticed last time that some guys had parked themselves under the staircase and were attempting to "get a better view". Gross!
