This is a very popular restaurant in Torrance. I've been there several times with my colleagues, and the food is interesting. Their menu includes items such as the Debu-Chan Bento, which is "Seared Tuna, House-smoked Salmon, Thai BBQ Shrimp, Crispy Calamari, and Miso Greens"
Its better to call ahead of time and make reservations. I tried going there once on a weekday. I couldn't get in, and the hostess pretty much laughed at me for not making reservations.

The receptionist was unfriendly and completely unsympathetic. I told them what needed to be done and they told me that I would have to wait a few hours. The reason was not because they were so busy (there weren't any customers at the time), but because the Vet wanted to take a lunch!
I know everybody has to eat but the least they could do was be a little more courteous. The staff there including the Veterinarian acted like I was imposing on their precious lunch time. :(
I walked out with my dog and never went back there.

They have a huge selection of roses too. I was pleasantly surprised to find a Yuzu tree (citrus tree - the fruit is very aromatic and can be used to scent soaps/candles )

I was on the protein diet for awhile and he made all sorts of delicious dishes. You can tell how skilled he is with the beautiful presentations. Don't be fooled by the sushi restaurants in Corona!
Their fish is so fresh - definitely the best sushi place all around.
It is in a bit of a strange location (looks like a hole in the wall from the outside) but once you go in, you will definitely be impressed.

Its unfortunate that there aren't any decent Japanese/sushi restaurants in this area. Since moving to the Inland Empire a few years ago, we've been searching for a good place to go to, but have had no luck.
The only positive thing I can say about this place is that they have a good menu selection, but their fish is not fresh.
If anybody thinks their sushi is good, go to the authentic Japanese restaurants in Orange County or L.A --- you'll be blown away.

I've tried many other Thai restaurants but none of the others compare. I recommend the chicken salad as a starter and go from there. Their pad thai is really good. Dont forget the Thai iced tea

For oil changes and maintenance, I always take my car here. Most of the people are friendly and courteous.

I always try to have "Frank" as the service manager since he does an exceptional job. I know they're on commission and getting more things serviced on a vehicle equals more money for them, but he never pressures me into anything unless its necessary. Once you start requesting him, he will remember you too.
The other service managers are great too. There was only one occasion where a service manager (forgot his name) tried to persuade me into getting an expensive service done -- he told me my warranty would be void if I didn't get this service, which was a lie-- but I haven't seen him around for over a year.

My car was pretty old and starting to make funny noises, so I took it in there several times to get it checked. When nothing was wrong with my car, they didn't charge me or try to sell me on something I didn't want.
