Good mongolian for a food court
Monday, September 26, 2005
It was a pleasant surprise to find decent Mongolian food at a food court. (Although, alot of sit-down Mongolian restaurants have all you can eat which is really nice ). Its relatively healthy and the flavor is very delicious.
First you choose the type of meat of meat you want. They give you a bowl filled with frozen meat and you fill the bowl up with whatever veggies you want, put some sauce on and watch them cook it for you. The key to this is that when you receive the frozen meat, you take a napkin and smash the meat to the bottom of the bowl. Then you can pile alot more veggies in your bowl and you will get your moneys worth.
I know this may sound pretty "ghetto", but this is the way I've been taught and thats the way I show all my friends how to do Mongolian. I've also seen other people do this too. It does make a big difference when its not all you can eat.
