I won't lie--the food here is delicious and wonderfully prepared and presented. However, I felt like I was transported back to the 80's when you were supposed to be impressed by the teeny tiny portions coupled with high prices. The prices are frankly, ridiculous. One of the apetizers is a sampler "trio" of cheeses that provide literally one mouthful of cheese per type. The price tag on this? $11. Also, it is a tapas-style restaurant, so each dish is meant to be shared and I'm sorry, you can't share ONE short rib.

If you are really serious about cooking as a hobby, I would suggest this culinary store to you. The prices are very high, but they sell high quality, difficult to find and specialty cookware. The staff is also very knowledgable about the products in the store as well as cooking in general. They have the best selection of bakewear I have seen in the city.

I have never eaten in a physical location of Romio's, but I have ordered delivery from the Greenwood branch many times and I have never been disappointed. The prices are a little high, but there always coupons online for half off or two-for-one specials whcih make it really worthwhile. My favorite dish is the Baked Fetticini Fromaggi otherwise known as the "Boat of Cheese." The first five forkfuls are literally nothing but cheese--it's amazing.

When people talk about the charm of the Neptune theatre in the U District, I am pretty sure they are referring to the sticky floors, tiny, uncomfortable too close together seats and questionable hygiene in the restrooms. That said, the staff is friendly and they play great movies here--it's a tough call. I don't think 9 dollars is really worth the discomfort, though.

Okay, you may score a deal during one of the many, many sales. But this big box has all the charm and service of, say, Home Depot. Take your money to the small businesses that offer unique fashion and better service in Fremont, Ballard, Cap Hill, etc. The merchandise here isn't very good, the service is absolutely terrible (especially in the shoe department).

Stumbled upon this place back in I guess 1998. Have been their regular ever since. Nowdays I go there at least 3-4 times a month. It is nice, upscale and cozy place. Martinis are their specialty and they know how to make them. That is why they win Martini challenge almost every year. If you are into martinis, jazz and having a great time with your friends than that place is for you. Just don't occupy the last table on the left hand side in northeastern corner of Oliver's - I like to sit there!

I shop Nordstrom's very frequently because they have wonderful customer service. I may find an item for less somewhere else, but I choose to support Nordstrom's because of the fabulous service and quality I receive. The women's clothing sections generally are pretty fashionable and up-t-date and the teenage girl section, BP has cheaper versions of popular items, which is nice for those of us on a budget.

The Cyclops has a nice urban atmosphere - cool decor, funky and relaxed. The food was good, better than expected. (I love pulled pork and theirs lived up to my standards!) However, the service was so bad that it was funny. Last night our waitress seemed highly irritated to be working; after we waited for what seemed an awfully long time she literally threw our menus onto the table, took her sweet time getting us drinks, slammed them and condiments down and totally lacked politeness.

I recently went here for brunch. The food was mediocre and overpriced. The huevos rancheros was small and tasteless although very pretty in presentation. The atmosphere was cute and quaint but didn't warrent the price tag.
The bar side, on the other hand, is a great little place with comfy couches and 2 dollar wells from 4:30 until midnight every day of the week.

The ambience was fantastic due to its charm and live music and the outdoor patio also provided a fantastic view of Elliot Bay. The service on the other hand was quite poor. Our waitress rarely visited the table to inquire about drinks or more bread and at one point she literally threw the bread onto the table and walked away. The food was very flavorful, if slightly overpriced, but the desserts were fabulous. Also--best tapenade I[ve ever had on the antipasto plate.
