Zookeeper is a fun place to go even if you're not searching for that special someone to be your new pet.
They have a variety of animals, everything from snakes to a sloth, genets to gerbils. They have been known to purchase animals as well, so if you're a breeder or maybe that hamster just had a litter, inquire at the front.
Ask the pirate-ish guy about bird-eating spiders, and he may have quite a tale to share with you.
